I think its kinda unfair, or hard to judge. The 3-4 makes LB corps as a whole look much better. The 4-3 has less cohesion sometimes.
I may be wrong here...but here is what im tryin to say. Taking nothing away from the Steelers, or James Harrison. But i wouldnt rank the Steelers ahead of the Bears LB's. I really dont think Harrison is a better LB than Lance Briggs. And I dont think that Pitts other inside LBs are better than Urlacher. Add Tinoisamoa and i think there pretty dam good.

Ware is the best pass rushing linebacker. And any team that has Keith Brooking starting doesn't have a top 5 linebacker corps, dudes play has really dropped off and we don't know if Spencer will be any good.

Ok great play, im not saying he bad...but Demarcus is a better football player than James Harrison. A better defense as a whole will help a player stand out. Im sure there is not much debate about Pitt and Dallas' defense, thus Harrison standing out more.

so if a guy is great on a great defense he is not as good as a guy who is great on a decent defense? in what way is ware better? harrison is a stellar edge rushers against the pass, he can stuff the run like a de and can drop back and cover any TE in the league and prolly some of the lower tiered wide outs. ware is fats off the edge and gets to the qb, but he is sos so against the pass and does ok, not great, but ok against the run. ware's name got out there cuz he had a shot at the sack record... that is until he just disappeared the last two games, where his team needed him badly, of the year.
