Preventing teams from getting a free timeout when video replay is used late in games (or any time, really). Namely, stop teams from planning a play during this time, I guess by forcing the active 10 players to stay on the court, away from the benches.

If anything he should undo what Stern did regarding the age limit.

Parity should be #1 concern for any professional sports league. Seriously its at the point where there are teams that you just want to fail instead of teams you want to win in today's NBA

Leave the size of the court alone. I didn't even know this was an issue. He should continue the crackdown on flopping, though.

I'd like him to work on the tanking issue, but I don't know what would work. More parity would be nice, as well.

You're not going to get parity in the current NBA because there simply isn't enough talent. It's always been like this. There's usually only 4-5 teams that have a legitimate shot at winning the title. You need a lot of star talent to reach that level (whether that's offensive or defensive stars or elite 2-way guys), and there aren't enough guys like that in the league for more than a few teams to really be in that upper-echelon.

I think the only way to increase parity really would be to decrease the number of teams. This would make more talent available to the average/lesser teams, thus increasing their level of play also. But I doubt the league is considering contraction, when they've been mulling over ADDING a European division for the last while.

Tanking is a huge issue that definitely needs to go away.
Raising the draft age limit does nothing, players would go overseas instead of going to college.
If the NBA expands, parity becomes an even bigger issue because there will be more teams to try to spread the lack of stardom needed to win a title to.
Stop with this Seattle and Sacramento stuff, its fine as it is.
Larger courts aren't a must but just an added bonus.
I'd like to see a 20-second shot clock, any shorter than that would make possessions too quick and take some of the strategy out of the game.
Shorten video review, teams use this as an extra timeout which is an unfair advantage.
Share revenue better, this could be a way of creating more parity.
Get flopping out of the game.
Find a way to increase parity.

Raise the draft age limit - no, lower it to 18. You're old enough to die for your country, you're old enough to play in the NBA. Same with drinking age.

Lack of parity - Yes, but there's nothing you can do about players wanting to play in Miami over Cleveland. A strict cap is the only answer and it's unlikely that will happen.

My biggest issue with the NBA right now is the number of timeouts ... ridiculous. I'd love the NBA to adopt the NFL model of 3 a half ... but I know that will never happen.

In some ways, I like the theory of avoiding tanking by reversing the draft ... give the teams who win the top picks. Gives you incentive to win.

Right now, as a Raptors' fan, I hate that people are still thinking my team should tank. WTF? Trade Kyle Lowry now for a 1st round pick? GTFO. Yet that talk continues. Makes me sick.

Also my guess is that the new TV deal we will see more NBA games on FOX or NBC. It would greatly benefit the league.

I want to puke when I hear theories like this. Don't get me wrong, I understand my Raptors won't win the East. I understand they won't win the title ... but in their current setup, they're damn interesting. I want to see this current team compete in the playoffs ... not tank for a chance at a kid who is far from a sure thing. Wiggins, IMO, is behind Parker and Embiid. Happy he's a kid from Toronto, but I don't want my team tanking for an impossible shot at him.

One player can just the outlook for an entire franchise. You only see that with QBs in the NFL and it's still somewhat rare. One player doesn't mean anything in baseball.

I get what you're saying, and I'd love the Raps to get Parker, but I subscribe to Herm Edwards' theory ... you play to fucking win. The second you say you don't, you are not Joe Montana worthy.
