I get a decent amount of INTs but nowhere near as many as the CPU. I normally get at least one per game and most of the time two. But through three games with the Bears Cutler has five TDs and I think EIGHT INTs. I guess I'm going to have to turn down the slider but I always feel dirty when I do that because then I'm not really playing on All Pro.

sometimes it is not always the slider you think it should be....sliders are a funny business but when you adjust one of them move it 1-2 clicks...cause sometimes 1 click can really change stuff.

We moved the roughing the passer 3 clicks against us and we went from getting no calls to 5-6 a game. Just dumb. 3 clicks in the realm of 100 should not be that effective.

I played through the original with my wife. I regretted not getting the character packs with the Hulk, etc because they eventually took it off the marketplace for some reason. And trying to find the Gold Edition with all the additional characters is tough and expensive.

I have the second game on PS3 but it's still in the plastic. LOL.

The 2nd game is not as good as the first...I dont know how the fucked that up....but they did. The last boss was dumb as shit too. I am not sure how there is not a TOTALLY awesome hack and slash Marvel game out there.

I the best ones were the xmen legends games.

I popped Syndicate in again last night. I'm now halfway through the campaign (I think?) and it's quite entertaining. I love the hacking aspect but it takes so long for them to recharge and the enemies are pretty brutal, even on Normal.

We will have to play some time Pad. Yeah, I remember that debacle. I also remember them having at least one character pack for the first game that included the Hulk. I wanted it but wasn't willing to pay $10 for it. Then it got pulled and I wished I had bought it because the gold edition (which included all the DLC) for that game is apparently pretty rare and expensive as shit now.

I'm hoping to finish Syndicate (360) today.

I also popped in NCAA the other day and it was the first time I've played it in months. Apparently there was some update that includes an ESPN tiker and Rece Davis updates during the games. It's a nice touch but why the fuck can't they actually have highlights during those cut aways or a weekly wrap up show? Why is that so difficult? This may be nostalgia talking but I swear one of the coolest features I've ever seen in an EA Sports game, or any sports title for that matter, were the cutaway updates in the early Madden and NHL games on the Genesis. Does anyone else remember that shit? In those games you could only play playoffs (no season mode) but during your game they would cutaway to another game and show you the last few seconds. The same for NHL. It was so fucking cool to see what else was going on. Then of course ESPN 2K5 had that great highlight show with Berman that would show actual highlights from the games you played along with the stats and shit.

The idea behind it is pretty cool, but the campaign is boring as fuck. The only bright spot to the single player is the numerous boss fights, but other than that, the campaign is very meh. The co-op missions are really cool tho, and they somewhat save the game. I wouldn't spend more than $10 on this game though.

Crazy PS3 HDD backup and restore update status?

Well, everything up until the restore went smooth. The backup to the external drive took about EIGHT hours, which I guess isn't crazy considering it was about 300GB of data.My PS3 recognized the new HDD and it was nice seeing that "837 GB of free space". But then I started the restore to transfer all the stuff onto the new HDD and it initially told me it would take an estimated 8 hours and 20+ minutes. Basically the same times it took to initially back the data up. But I started at around 2pm and it's at 89% now. How on Earth it could take longer putting the data back onto a LARGER drive is baffling.

Pretty much what he said. If you have a group of three other guys to play the co-op with it's definitely at least worth $20. The campaign was pretty meh with a few cool points but the co-op is a lot of fun. The only problem is that you can't even think of trying ANY of the maps with less than three people. Even with three it's hard as hell. The game gives "recommendations" for the number of players needed for each map (I believe there are nine) but every one says FOUR. LOL. IIRC Pad, Jay and I played through all of the maps on PS3 on Normal and it was hard as nails. And you need to keep in mind that Pad is a bit of a FPS savant. I also played through the maps on Xbox with Brnt, Swarley and Med and it was just as difficult, if not more so. I couldn't imagine playing on the Hard difficulty.

So, the restore completed around 5:30am. A total of over 15hrs! At least it worked and didn't take two days like the console to just on sole transfer did. Christ.

Now I have 500+GB free. I'm going to try to go back and download all the free PS+ shit that I didn't before to save room. I made sure to download Far Cry 2 and Bioshock 2.

I deactivated all my systems just in case because it looked like my console was showing up twice because of the whole process. Basically it thinks it's a new system.

Now, I would imagine this won't take nearly as long with m wife's PS3 since she only has about 20+GB of content.

Hey Pad, or anyone else, since I loaded all the DLC for Borderlands via the GotY disc on my wife's PS3, will I have to reinstall it after the HDD upgrade? I'm hoping not since it should be part of the Game Data file now.

I did try to sync my trophies last night and after a half hour it was at 19%! Unreal.

Now if I could only figure out what's causing most of my installs to fail after downloading. It has to have something to do with my connection because it does the same thing on the wife's PS3. It seems like some people say port forwarding should fix it but that's what they say for everything. The last time I tried fucking with ports on my router, which was back in the MM days, it totally fucked my 360's connection.

It takes me about 30 seconds to sync my trophies. Have you reset both your modem and router recently? That might help.

You should DMZ one of the PS3s on your router (both if you can).
