I don't know why people get so bent out of shape, you don't hear anyone say "Fuck Randy Couture, he's one of those phony movie actors", or "Rich Franklin can lick my balls, I hated my math teacher".

Pro Wrestling is great way for these guys to make a few bucks when they aren't fighting, especially a few years ago when the money for fighting wasnt as good as it is now. The two businesses go hand in hand, cutting promos, selling fights, etc. It's a natural fit, and MMA/pro wrestling willl always be connected, so people need to just deal with it.

Hardcore fight fans (myself included) don't want the sport to become like "Pro" wrestling. I think that's the issue, a great example of that would be what Brock did last night when Rogan was interviewing him.

That's the art of the promo, it draws money.

It was nothing short of great. Everything about it was great.
 
- Lesnar came off looking like an ass last night

- GSP dominated Thiago Alves in even more impressive fashion than he dominated BJ Penn at UFC 94

- GSP is going to have a long-run as the champion in the Welterweight division. I would love to see a catch-weight match between Anderson Silva and GSP

I scored 147 points in my UFC fantasy picks last night. I was pretty happy b/c I ranked 160th out of 24,865 who participated.

I dont know why so many people doubted it was a fluke lol. Outside of Frank being willing to admit it cause he takes away from his credibility, everyone KNEW it was a fluke. It took a moronic rookie mistake for Frank to get lucky.. and now he got fucked up the 2nd time. Brock has avenged his only loss.. I know how much avenging losses means to Rob. :)
 
Man was i pumped for this.. Man was i let down... The Henderson fight was the best IMO. Henderson knocked him out and then finished him off. Lesner pretty much handled Mir with no problem...

Yep, and admitted to it afterwards. Brock is just easy to hate.. and I love him for it. Everyone loves to play respect after the fight but that shit can get boring.. and if you legitimately dont like a guy why act like you do? Furthermore Brock knows how to play to the crowd, someones gotta be the bad guy. Mir was talking a lot of garbage pre-fight and Brock made him eat his words (and his fists).. its easy for me to understand why Brock's so emotional and ready to say "fuck you" after the fight.. too many naysayers.
 
lol I knew the prelim fights made it bloody...I mean WHAT fight.

UFC should go the affliction route and air the undercards somewhere like Spike.
At the elast air them after the main cards. CB Dollaway getting beat and Coleman winning I certainly woulda stuck around to watch.
 
If Lesnar fights under control and very deliberate like he did against Mir, he is damn near unstoppable. I'm not going to say he could beat Fedor, but his size and strength could definitely make it interesting. This was almost a mirror of Lesnar/Mir 1, but instead of going nuts when on the ground, Lesnar just took it slow. He absolutely dominated on the ground and Mir didn't have a chance.

GSP is still amazing, but I would love to see him fight Silva. I really think Silva can take him.

It was nice to see Bisping lose. He deserved that style of loss after such controversial victories.
