Great night of fights. Really upset Cain/Nog didn't last longer, but I'm glad Cain won as well. Hopefully Carwin knocks Mir the fuck out and we see a Carwin/Velasquez interim title fight for #1 contender to Brock.

Heavyweight Bout: Mirko Filipović vs. Anthony Perosh

This was exactly what I thought it would be, a blowout. Hard to blame the UFC considering it was a late change, but it was a beating. Not much to say about it. Cro Cop looked good, but probably should have ended it earlier.

Light Heavyweight Bout: Keith Jardine vs. Ryan Bader

Solid fight. Ugly in terms of striking, but they both kept it interesting. Jardine did an amazing job of getting up after slams and Bader looked good all around. He will have to improve his striking if he hopes to ever compete with Machida or Rua.

Lightweight Bout: Joe Stevenson vs. George Sotiropoulos

George was absolutely dominant on the ground. Joe really had nothing and played into George's game. It was interesting to watch the methodical, technical game of Sotiopoulos, but it shouldn't have won fight of the night. At no point was this one overly competitive.

Middleweight Bout: Wanderlei Silva vs. Michael Bisping

From the get go, you could tell one thing... Bisping was fighting not to lose. He was fine with throwing single punches or slow kicks all fight. He was scared of leaving himself open and didn't want to get KO'd again. Silva just kept attacking and dominated because of it. Bisping needs to be aggressive if he hopes to get back to contending.

Heavyweight Bout: Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Cain Velasquez

Velasquez looked like a beast. Big Nog definitely was not prepared for a guy with his size, strength, and speed. Cain will hopefully get a shot at either the interim champ or Brock soon because I don't think the UFC wants to have him humiliating more of their big stars.

Great night of fights. I really wanted Cro Cop to finish, but Perosh did not want to engage. CroCop needs to learn how to use the cage to his advantage and cut off the space instead of walking circles following his opponent. Also have no idea why he didn't work the kicks more, not just LHK, but body and leg kicks to slow that motherfucker down

Bader looked good. Not sure if I should be worried by the fact that a 'dominant' wrestler wasn't able to keep top position against a guy like Jardine for more than 2 seconds.

Sotriopolous, wow. His striking looking good, and his top game was a surprise. Stevenson wasn't able to do anything when he was on top because of George's rubber guard and by the end you could tell Stevenson had no plan B.

Wandy looked good at 185. His striking came looking crisper than it did lately at 205 and he was able to get the better of the exchanges. Loved the bull rush at the end. No idea how Bisping thinks he won that fight.

Velasquez looked damn, damn good. Beat Nog to the punch every time. When he rocked him, I was hoping he'd fall into Nog's guard like so many others have. But he threw the legs out of the way, went to the side and dropped five more hammers. Fuck Mir/Carwin, this guy is the biggest threat to Lesnar

How improved Cain has looked over his last 2 fights is almost scary. Dudes wrestling was already so tremendous and now his striking look like this? Scary, scary combination.

Cain is the future champ, a while ago I picked him over both Brock and Carwin, Brock and Carwin would be a 50/50, but Cain beats both of them, I thought he wouldnt beat Nog because he hasnt shown any power standing, but he did last night

Nog could probably sub him, but Brock and Carwin wouldnt be able to, Cain took a huge step last night, kid is for real

Mir would get smoked, JDS would get mauled on the ground by Cain, I dont see many HWs the UFC has that can beat him in the future, maybe a Gonzaga
