The judging was a travesty. The only round you can argue is 5, and I still think GSP won that one, too.
GSP forced Shields to fight his fight, and did it with one eye. Maybe the judges were blind, too.

Uhh... Silva has gone to 205... and won... against a former LHW champion in utterly ridiculous style. Silva has shown he can clown people in two weight classes and has taken every fight that he's been presented with (and won every one of them since joining the UFC).

Yeah I dont see how Jake won any round, my guess is the judges are just as annoyed as some of the rest of us by GSP's lack of aggressiveness so they scored a couple rounds for Jake. And im dead serious in saying that.. Jake did FUCK ALL all fight, I dont see how he could've won on any score card.

worded it wrong, the scores were 50-45, 48-47 and 48-47 for GSP, if Shields would have say stolen the 3rd with a TD it would have been 48-47 for Shields and he would be the new champ

Despite the close scores at the end, I doubt (more like hope, really) that any judge would have given that fight to Shields. The judges sometimes give rounds to guys to make a fight closer or because one guy isn't being aggressive enough, which I think the latter is the case. Although with the judging we've seen lately, I wouldn't put anything past them to have given that fight to Shields because of a worthless takedown at some point.

What worthless takedown? Shields didn't even bother trying any after the first couple rounds after GSP easily thwarted a couple of attempts.
My favorite moment of the fight was in round one, when Shields went for a single leg, and GSP just calmly bounced on one leg (backwards) to the cage, gathered himself, and shoved Shields away like an annoying child.
Between rounds, you could hear Shields asking his corner if he should "pull guard now". I lol'd.

A. I dont think Silva fights at 230. Thats like saying Rampage fights at 240.
B. And1 has zero interest in Jones. Hes said it a few times. But seems eager for GSP.
C. Silva was pushed into the Forrest fight after his danceathon. I dont get the protection of GSP. Dont bother calling anyone P4P if they refuse to go outside of there weight class.
GSP seems like a petrified man. He seems so worried about being KOd and his image as a whole its completely changed his approach. I can see it in his fights , his interviews etc.
