I'm liking a lot of the set pieces a lot, but I am a little worried that aspects of the combat will get a little old for me. I just finished UC2 the other day again and I'm worried this might get a little stale for me and start to feel a bit too much like UC2.5.

All of that said though, I am really enjoying it, and the Chateau sequence was everything that I expected it to be (thankful I didn't watch any spoilers or trailers).

Yeah, I thought the first half of the game was awesome but it was more setting up things and explaining aspects of the previous games. The second half of the game has some of the coolest puzzles and balls to the wall action that I have ever seen in a game. From Chapter 11 or 12 on I was grinning from ear to ear.

With that said there was one thing that really irked me. This is serious spoiler territory so don't click unless you've finished the game.
 
Why didn't Nate and Elena ever kiss? They had some serious emotional moments in the game and they obviously get back together at the end but only hug? WTF? I'm not going to lie that I got a little choked up at the end when they finally reunited because I love those characters so much and I think they are perfect together. But then all of that culminates into an embrace and that's it?!? I also don't know why they didn't delve more into what happened since Uc2. It's kind of apparent that they got married and got separated but they never explain why. It would be easy to say that it was because Drake never wants to quit chasing treasure and Elena thinks it's too dangerous, but it seems like the game hints at something more specific but never tells you what. Saving for Uc4 I guess?

There were a couple that had me raging last night lol. I can't remember specifically which one atm, but I actually threw my cup of water across my living room b/c I died like 30 times lol.
 
Maybe you guys just suck? Ha.

I only had a few parts that ticked me off.

 
1) On the deck of the ship where Sully is allegedly being held. I think it's one of the first times you face one of those big dudes with all the armor and the shotgun. I couldn't figure out what to do with him because it just seemed like he just kept soaking up my gunfire, all the while there were plenty of regular dudes jumping down from the level above, and an annoying fucking RPG guy.

2) Right before you go into the temple in Chapter 20 I think? 19 Maybe? There were tons of snipers and RPG guys that kept lighting me up. Of course it didn't help that I was trying to unlock trophies by using certain guns.
