As per promised on the upcoming podcast, my notes so far:

Uncharted 3
-Out for PS3 in November
-Beta available now through Playstation Plus, codes from inFamous 2 and in about a week, publically through the PSN Store
-As you start up, you're prompted to e-sign a Beta agreement and customize your character
-Customization includes Appearances, Emblems and Loadouts; for the former two choices, you can earn customization packs as you
play as well as a free avatar for playing in the Beta
-Loadouts are split into Competitive and Co-Op this time around so there's less fussing about what you can work with during a match

-Competitive
-Each have a main weapons (Long Guns) and Pistols which are unlocked by earning Ranks or completing Treasure Sets
-Competitive starts you off with an AK-47, a G-MAL (replacement for FAL) and the Dragon Sniper as well as an M9 which
can be unlocked at Rank 17
-Pistols are Para 9 and Arm Micro which can be unlocked at Rank 10
-Boosters are also given Slots (Slot 1 and Slot 2) and Levels from which you can improve on?
-You need a specific rank to get them, then you need in-game cash to buy them (see: Black Ops)
-Two sets
-Come Here (see who killed you from up to 15 meters away until they die) $10,000 in-game
-Endurance (Decrease sprint recovery time by 25%) Rank 7
-Cloaked (Opponents can't see your player arrow and you're hard to hear) Rank 11
-Weapon Expert (Add on MOD slot to all pistols) Rank 16

-Power Hunter (See Power Weapon location from within 10 meters) $10,000
-Daredevil (Taunt over opponent's body to recieve ammo) rank 4
-Back in the Saddle (Respawn reduced by 2 seconds) Rank 9
-Bargain (Medal Kickback cost reduced by 1) Rank 20

-Medal Kickbacks
-Special abilities given once you get certain amount of medals
-Last for only a duration as well
-RPG!!!
-Spawn RPG with an instant duration; Costs 14 medals
-Unlocked already
-Speedy G
-Speed Boost for 20 seconds; costs 7 medals
-Rank 4
-Smoke Bomb
-Turn invisible in an instant; 7 medals
-Rank 7
-Militia Man
-No reloading for 30 seconds; 7 medals
-Rank 10
-Cluster Bomb
-Multiple bomblets from one grenade in an instant; 10 medals
-Rank 15
-Disruption
-Nearby Enemies can't see player arrows for 25 seconds; 7 medals
-Rank 23
-Creepy Crawler
-Turn into a swarm of spiders for 20 seconds; 17 medals
-Need Special Voucher
-Customization also lends itself to clothing swaps such as hats, rings and pants; emblems you can use to put your own tag
up, etc.
-Idea of a "Buddy System" during matches so you can spawn on a teammates, rez them as needed, and even taunt as you kill
opponents together by hitting down

-Match Playlists consist of Team Deathmatch, FFA, 2v2v2 Team Deathmatch, Hardcore (no boosts/kickbacks) and co-op Arena

-Facebook Integration extends to playing with Facebook Friends in addition to PSN friends as long as they have the game

Yeah, earlier this evening I couldn't even get into a match. Then I got into one a little while ago, and it wasn't even playable.

I gotta say, I dig the play but they gotta fix the headshots.

I hit a guy three times in the head and he still managed to K.O. me.

That and they gotta fix the treasure system... I killed a dude and he dropped the last piece I needed to get a new shirt inside of a wall.

Definitely a Day One purchase.

Naughty Dog has been posting updates on their Twitter feed on the reg. They say they are aware of the issues and diligently working on them. Apparently the Facebook Friends thing was causing a lot of issues.

Will my Beta progress or unlocks carry over to the final game?

No, what happens in the Uncharted 3 Multiplayer Beta stays in the Beta, however we’ve lined up some killer rewards for the retail version of Uncharted 3 if you keep playing in the Beta:

EDIT: The 1.01 patch is already out, but I've been having problems with my PS3 resetting when I try to download it. No official word from Naughy Dog about the problem, but some people have been able to resolve this by waiting and trying to get the patch again later.

ive tried 2x now to click on Uncharted 3 on my ps3 and it resets my system, fun times.

man naughty dog dropped the ball on gun accuracy and player damage again

on top of that you have to wait until level 13 till you can put an accuracy mod on your gun :smh:

basically your sol if your facing a smart level 13+ because that accuracy mod on the ak turns it into a real gun and not some crappy shit that takes almost a whole clip to kill someone
