It feels like the invert is broken, sometimes it works then it doesn't, it's really screwing me up and I'm not good enough to overcome that haha.

As far as Mutes go, you can only mute either your teammates or a whole room before a match.

In any case, you were holding it down in those two rounds of Co-Op Arena (which I'm going to either have to go back to UC2 to get the full amount of maps I want OR... just suck it up until November) as that Dylan guy was mopping up the CPUs.

on top of that you have to wait until level 13 till you can put an accuracy mod on your gun

basically your sol if your facing a smart level 13+ because that accuracy mod on the ak turns it into a real gun and not some crappy shit that takes almost a whole clip to kill someone

I got on at 8:30 and played three matches before I left for work. Besides a few times where it lagged in the first match and that network connection icon thing popped up, everything ran smoothly.

the gmal works quite fine

but it would be nice if the ak actually worked and the gmal didnt take 3-4 burst to kill a person even with a headshot

Two things I've learned so far playing:

1) The AK-47 is your god until you learn how to aim with the G-MAL with the Accuracy attachment.

-I've seen players in the late 10's (15 or higher... shit, a 25 or two) still roll with the AK because nothing's easier that holding down the trigger until the guy in front of you is dead.

2) Headshots and Melee don't mean shit in the Beta.

-With no indication on how much damage your gun is actually doing, not to mention how big the "Hit Boxes" are, you gotta pick and choose when to strike opposing players.

This usually means either picking them off from far away (Dragon Sniper takes TWO headshots without Boosts), being a bum and shooting them in the back, or getting the last shot in when you have them in a crossfire.

Yes, you can win in a shootout but shit is so random, you could empty a whole clip into someone's face and they'll get you first (Paid Bullet Booster or not).

As for Melee, there's no "couple of shots, Two punches and you win" even with a pistol.

The headshot problem definitely needs to be fixed. I can't tell you how many times I've unloaded four or five rounds directly into someone's face, and they were still alive.

Agreed. I thought it was just because I sucked but the few games I played last night I kept saying "WTF?!? I shot that guy right in the face and somehow he kills me?"

I don't remember it being like that with UC2 at all.

And two headshots with a sniper rifle is completely unacceptable.

I almost went for a hat trick on one opponent but he grew a brain cell and moved before I finally done him in.

Other complaints:

-The Beta resetting my PS3 on occasion after I exit back to the main XMB bar.

-Scrub-ass quitters that leave a match if they die more than once without penalty.

What makes it worse is that even with getting into the Beta a week early AND the returning players from UC2 getting on AND those with some shooter experience playing (especially since UC3 will be seen as cribbing from Black Ops now)...

The "Kickbacks" for losing teams don't mean shit.

...if your team sucks or if you get into a match that has one side up by 15-20 kills, you're gonna lose.

Those who leave while their team is losing make it worse, if not cause the game to end prematurely.

-There's no rhyme or reason to the costume/treasure system.

Yes, I want the baseball cap for Drake when I play but I can't get it if the game doesn't specify what I need to do to get it.

I get that there's an incentive system to keep playing the Beta in every mode to get the right pieces BUT I can see myself getting to Level 25 before I get that new hat that I earned to show off.
