Again. Vick was a player that ONLY played the QB position. If he was not a great QB it is logically impossible for him to be a "great player" because the only position he played, QB, he was not "great" at.

And just because he has good inflated rushing numbers and wins a few games doesn't mean he is good either.

You said it yourself. Vick was not a great QB. It was the only position he ever played. There is no way Vick can then be labeled a great player because he was not great at the ONLY POSITION HE PLAYED.

Bobby Douglass was a hell of a runner as a QB, but no one, and I mean no one would ever say he was "a great QB." Simply because Vick excelled at one part of the game doesn't mean he was "great" overall. Like it or not the QB position has certain job requirements, stigmas, expectations etc required of it. Vick did not fulfill those, especially as a passer which is pretty much the most important aspect of being an NFL QB.

I know with your blind hatred its hard to accept...

but eventually he would have, whether you accept it or not... not to many players like Vick play every Sunday, had everything in his life not fallen to shit, he probably would have made it.

granted, not immediately, but in time.

as of now however, people only remember the bad things, they have a completely negative image of the man, and despite all of the great games and amazing things he did, people like you want to look purely at the negatives.
