Im not a Titans fan, but for the record I've been saying VY shouild start for a while. He's not the best passer, but hes a leader and he energizes the team.

I know Jake, I was. But after watching him these last five games, he's really starting to grow on me again. It's not just the wins, but it's the way he's changed as a quarterback. He's a completely different player than before, and it seems that with CJ and Britt being young, they could have a scary trio for years to come.

I never stopped being a fan of Vince Young, I just lost faith in him. And he's returned that faith with his play and the way he's handled himself off the field. I really like how he's been with McNair's kids, acting as a father figure towards them. He's not that immature kid who cries after being booed off the field by his home fans. Vince Young has grown up.

But really, I'm glad Vince is doing good. I never thought he would be an all world QB but if in the right system I thought he would be okay.

I made a thread earlier in the season asking why he wasn't starting yet, and I'm glad to see it finally happened...but all this hype is getting on my nerves. Call me when he beats a team that isn't currently under .500, or wasn't missing their starting QB. He has a chance to do it this weekend against Indy and then against San Diego.

Thats not a fair assesment since 3/4ths of the league sucks now anyway.

so far Vince Young is looking like what M Vick wishes he could have been, a legitimate QB.

Can someone tell me why he was benched to begin with?

Week 1 of 2008 - Titans win 17-10
Week 17 of 2007 - Titans win 16-10
Week 16 of 2007 - Titans win 10-6
Week 15 of 2007 - Titans win 26-17

He now has a career 23-11 w/l record, and you cost him over a year of his career in development because you felt KERRY COLLINS was the answer? He might not be Peyton Manning, but the guy knows how to win you games.

Haha, like I said before - I had lost all faith in Vince Young. I was always still a fan of his, but I didn't believe he could comeback from everything. Needless to say, I like how I have to eat my own words. :)
 
Although I'm happy to see the Titans on a winning streak, I'm still not conVINCEd. That guy has a long way to go before he gains my cheers and respect again. I can't easily forget the season opener against Jacksonville last year. NFL QBs aren't supposed to quit on the rest of their team. :whistle:

I like the fact that Young is doing well, seems to have overcome his "mental" issues, gives credit to his team, his poise, and the fact that he looks like he's actually reading coverages now. I just don't know if I can be a fan of his after the shit he pulled. Maybe time will eventually change my feelings...who knows.
