Cards got lucky there divison sucked this year maybe , But Warner and the birds still beat Atlanta (Mean south) , Carolina on the road (the champions of the south) and then the Eagles at home.

Drew Brees.

Post season record - 1-2, 5 TDs, 2 INTs, 916 yards.

Kurt Warner.

Post season record - 8-3, 3 super bowl appearances, 1 Super bowl MVP, 1 Super bowl record for most passing yards, 26 TDs, 13 Ints, 3,336 yards.

As ''identical'' as those numbers are, I'm going to have to give the edge to Kurt Warner.

I said NFC West. I was comparing it to the NFC South. Using that as my argument as to why the Cardinals were in the playoffs in the first place.

Cause if you think New Orleans wouldn't be in the playoffs if they were in the NFC West last season then you're an idiot. Same goes if you think Arizona would be in the playoffs if they were in the NFC South last season.

You're still not seeing the point. This guy is saying that Warner is better than Brees because Warner is a winner. However, it's clearly the teams you are on in this argument. Brees has put up the same, if not better, numbers than Warner in the playoffs. Brees is by no means a choker. The team he was a part of was a choker.

And if this idiot, Nuk, watch San Diego at all in the playoffs when Brees was there, he could tell that Brees was doing everything possible to win that game. They lost cause of LT and the rest of the team.

In all fairness, when Warner had success with the Rams he had 2 all-pro WRs and an all-pro/Hall of Fame RB. And with the Cards he had 2 Pro-Bowl Caliber WRs. Brees had Colston, some scrub WR's and a backfield riddled with injuries and still threw for 5000 yards. That's pretty impressive.

I never said Warner wins BECAUSE of the talent around him, but it sure does help. He's just had better talent to work with than Brees which = more success. Give Warner the Saints and he would prob play just as well there, but he wouldn't have gone to the superbowl this season, not a chance. Put Brees on the Cards and i think they could make that same playoff run they did, and Brees def breaks the record for yards with that team.

Yeah. We all know how unlikely it is for Kurt Warner to take one of the worst teams in the NFL to the super bowl, with the 32nd rank rush offense and the 19th ranked defense (who only gave up 8 yards less per game than New Orleans.)
