You seem to forget the fact the even though he didn't have a running game he had TWO Pro-Bowl WRs and a slot WR who could start on most teams. I'm not taking anything away from Warner, but the Cardinals are a much better team than the saints were this season, especially with all the injuries NO had.

I'd agree with Warner above Brees this season. But there's no way u can't have Brees in your top 10 with what he did this season and what little he did it with.

I never said his team was holding him back, he put up almost the EXACT same stats that Warner put up with 500 more passing yards and 4 more TDs and his team still didn't win enough games to make the playoffs in what was a tough NFC south this season (but we won't get into that). They arn't holding him back from producing no, but the rest of the team has to contribute at some point for him to win.
Even Marino, who put up GODLY numbers year after year couldn't do it all for his team, someone else has to step up at some point, a QB can only do so much. Just like in the playoffs, the Cards run game and D stepped up in a BIG way. No way they would have made the superbowl if they played like they were playing in the regular season. True Cards and Saints had similar reg seasons, and Warner and Brees had similar seasons, the diff is Arizona stepped it up when they had too, and New Orleans didn't. That has nothing to do with how good or bad the QB is.

Week 13 vs. Tampa Bay - 3 Interceptions, 2 in the fourth quarter = Loss.

That's just two examples of a career full of late game fuck ups. If you want them all, I have them all in memory, because, well, I love bashing the fuck out of Drew Brees, so I like to stock up on ammo, if/when I ever find a person/persons who actually consider this fucker a clutch performer. then again, it's the NFL holding him back, right? Right!

One i NEVER said the NFL was holding brees back, because i don't think he's been held back. All i said was that the Cards have better Weapons than the saints. Everyone who plays into what Nuk is saying about Brees is a fucking idiot who doesn't care to check facts.

Drew Brees stats in the fourth quarter... 10 tds to 6 interceptions, 1,229 yards, and a 63.3% completion rate. He throws more touchdowns in the fourth quarter than he throws in any quarter besides the 3rd. So that means that Brees is most productive in the second half of football games when the games are on the line.

Check his stats when his team is within 7 points if the fourth, his numbers are identical.

Now check Warner's stats in the fourth. The fourth quarter for Warner is his least productive quarter behind the first (the first will always be the least productive). Look at his stats for when his team is within 7 points in the fourth. He's got a better QB rating than Brees in that situation, but he's done far less than what Brees has done when trailing in the fourth.

Please Nuk, try to argue that St. Louis and the Cardinals have the same amount of talent as the New Orleans Saints. You look like a fucking idiot. That's grasping for straws even as a Cardinal fan.

Oh I looked back farther, trust me. Warner in 2007 when trailing was completely horrible. Brees was worse than he (Brees) was this year when trailing, but he (Brees) still wasn't worse than Warner when trailing.

Look up the facts man. This year was Warner's first semi-productive year when trailing in the fourth since he left the Rams. SINCE HE LEFT THE RAMS!

Every season since 2002, Drew Brees has been better when trailing than Kurt Warner except for one season. And that wasn't last year, it was in 2003.

Couple that with the stats I just provided and that proves to you that Drew Brees isn't the problem, it's the New Orleans Saints.

The Saints have had zero defense what-so-ever in Brees career there. Same as Warner. The Saints had maybe one year of a decent rushing attack with Brees in New Orleans. Same as Warner.

The difference between the Saints and Cardinals is Kurt Warner is tossing the ball up to Larry Fitzgerald (who is not able to be covered by any DB in this league) and Anquan Boldin, not to mention Steve Breaston. Both Fitz and Boldin are better than Colston, Fitz being the best WR in the game is 10 times better than Colston.

The Cardinals get by because of their division and because of their passing game. The Saints lose because of their division and because all they have is a passing game.

Stop knocking Brees for shit he can't control. If Warner was in his shoes, we'd be having the same conversation.

And you know if Brees and Warner were switched right now and Brees was the beloved QB of your Cardinals, then we wouldn't be having this debate.
