This is what I hate about the QB Rating system: one play can make an average/shitty game look like a GREAT performance. Without that miracle (which should have been a pick), Orton's rating would be 72.8. Were that picked off, his rating would be worse than Carson Palmer's. Talk about numbers lying.

Regardless, Cincy's secondary sucks, and they showed it on the touchdown.

The result of the play and the game is something I could care less about. Brandon Stokley made a GREAT play. The play itself was great. However, Orton shouldn't be credited for a TD.

That's fine but at some point it just ends up being too subjective and arbitrary. Easiest way handle it the way they handle it now.

Maybe the Bengals should've picked it off, maybe they should've caught Stokley from behind, maybe he should've tripped on the 10 yard line. Whatever, only thing that matters is Orton threw a pass and Stokley caught it for a TD.

Hall made a great play on the deflection and you could see the safety coming over and destroying marshall even after the ball was tipped. If anything that play showed how in football, anything can happen on any given play.

Are you retarded? If the defender wouldn't have left Stokley to hit Marshall, who had no shot to make the catch after the deflection, then he either makes the interception or knocks the ball down himself.

Are you retarded? If Cincinnati had a quarterback capable of putting up a QB rating higher than 61, and at least one touchdown pass, Cincinnati wouldn't have had to depend on stopping that play.

Have you ever heard of a three wide-prevent defense? It's what the bungles should have been running on the play. It has three deep safeties spread out across the field, in order to make sure no one gets past the defense. Where were these three safeties? All trying to take Marshall's head off! Great discipline there! If that terrible secondary knew what it was doing they would have covered Stokley, instead of letting him stroll into the endzone. Hell, the only guy even close to tackling Stokley was a fucking linebacker! Your dumb ass DBs completely deserted their assignments. Oh well that's why you're the bungles.
