3 pros -

- Andrew Luck is a good football player. He's a rookie, but the guy handles pressure very well imo and his ability to use his feet make him different from Manning almost immediately.

- Robert Mathis looks really good as an OLB in the 34, I thought he may thrive in this position when I heard of the scheme change and so far it seems to be holding true. That said we haven't faced a lot of talent outside of Chicago in these first few weeks.

- I think our Corners are halfway decent this year. Davis got called on some really tacky PI calls today that Indy couldn't get called for themselves in even more obvious scenarios but he seems like a solid corner, which isn't something Indianapolis has had in a long time. I think the addition of Davis with Powers gives us a solid, maybe not great, but definitely not very weak corner position.

Cons

- Indianapolis can't play big boy football until they get a running back who can punish defenders and make some of his own holes. Donald Brown has proven he's got open field elusiveness and game breaking speed but the man is no good unless you're running off tackle.

- Indianapolis defensive front 7 outside of Robert Mathis and maybe Kavell Conner need a complete overhall. the defensive line of this hybrid 34 defense is horrific outside of maybe Redding, Fili Moala got absolutely mauled today, Drake Nevis is playing out of position (scheme casualty), and Antonio Johnson is not the NT this team needs. If Chapman isn't the answer to this question after he gets off of the PUP list I think this position needs to be adressed IMMEDIATELY in the draft.

- Conservite playcalling in the second half of games can arguably be blamed for the close games these last two weeks. Today I think it had more to do with the referees shooting Indianapolis in the foot but giving Jacksonville the push everytime there was a call in question, but there's no denying that playcalling from Arians has been questioned much during these last few weeks. Why Arians continues to call dives/draws and other interior run plays with a team with very little offensive line talent much less a bruiser at that position like he had in Pitt I'll continue to be unable to understand.

I wanted 6 wins this season, I still think we can get that.

PROS
- A WIN HOLY SHIT
- Jake Locker was awesome. Made all the big throws, didn't force anything and even pulled a Hasselbeck by drawing the Lions DL off-sides three times with the hard count. Love seeing his enthusiasm after big plays.
- Forgetting the bone-headed roughing the pass penalty in the fourth quarter, Akeem Ayers was a ballhawk. He didn't force any turnovers, but was flying all over the field and had a huge sack on a third down play that led to the Nate Washington TD.
- Alan Lowry, welcome back. The Music City Miracle part deux was an absolutely perfect call and ran beautifully (hell, I'd like to get Campbell the ball more than just returning, he's got WHEELS) and his kick returning unit was superb on Reynaud's TD.

CONS
- Jerry Gray. I understand being afraid of Megatron, but you can't play your safeties 30 yards downfield the entire game and allow Stafford/Hill to dink-n-dunk across the middle. Rush four, drop seven is becoming too big of a habit of his, especially with a defense that has a lot of young talent on it. His best call was lining up Ayers on the edge and letting him go after the QB on that aforementioned third down sack.
- Rob Bironas. Game never should have gone to overtime if Bironas hits just one of those FGs he missed. I'll give him a pass though since we won and he doesn't have many of those kind of games.
- The replacement refs. All kinds of terrible today. Hill shouldn't have had a chance at that Hail Mary because McCourty forced a fumble on Burleson the play before (which they called incomplete). Stevens was robbed of a big 3rd and 15 catch on a pretty throw by Locker after the refs thought the ball hit the ground on review (they picked up the first down anyways from a helmet-to-helmet hit, but still awful). Roos and Stewart had a few plays where they jumped early to get an edge on KVB and Avril, yet they didn't call a false start on them. Bad on both sides.

Pros

1.) RGIII recovered from a forgettable first-half to lead the team to score 17 unanswered points and put the Redskins back in the game. He led the team on an 80 yard drive to set up the defense to make a stop, and then started leading the team downfield to tie the game when an inopportune sack deflated the team and led to them breaking down. RGIII was also under constant pressure, with Trent Williams out for most of the game and Jordan Black just could not keep up. In addition to 221 yards passing, he put up 85 yards rushing, and did not throw an interception. Ball security is an issue, but that is easy to correct.

2.) Alfred Morris once again performed well on the ground, gaining 78 yards for a 4.6 average and a touchdown. Morris always seems to get positive yardage and I would love for the Redskins to run the ball with him even more than they do currently.

3.) Rob Jackson and Chris Wilson did a pretty good job replacing Orakpo. Jackson had an interception in the end zone for the Redskins first score of the game, and all three tackles went for a loss. Wilson was solid on special teams and also had a half-sack. Ryan Kerrigan also stepped up and split that sack with Wilson, but was always around Dalton today.

4.) Refs actually called a good game. There was some confusion near the end, but that was fine I thought. The only thing I saw was a missed call on DPI on Leonard Hankerson on a deep route, but I wasn't on the field to judge whether or not it was a catchable ball without the defensive contact.

Cons

1.) Mental mistakes again. The defense was caught napping on the first play of the game, where the Bengals scored on a play out of the Wild Cat. The Redskins were also penalized six times for 60 yards, and there were two near the end which killed the comeback chance. It's also not like the Bengals played perfect ball either, as they were penalized eight times for 80 yards.

2.) While the defense did a good job shutting down the run and creating two turnovers, they had too many big plays go through the air. The Bengals have a lot of depth on offense, and they just proved today that the Redskins don't have the help in the secondary. They also had no answer for AJ Green, who tore them up today and seemed to be the go-to guy on every third-down. This is the first time I've seen Andy Dalton in extended action, and he really impressed me today.

3.) Without Pierre Garcon, the deep passing attack has suffered. The longest play through the air today was 29 yards to Fred Davis, and the Bengals, who have been susceptible to the pass so far this season, always had a second man back to take away the deep route.

4.) What was with the offensive play-calling in the first half? It's almost like they forget RGIII could move around and out of the pocket, and he struggled to get into a rhythm because they weren't rolling him out and creating some separation out there. They should have made that change when Williams went down, not wait out the half.

5.) Losing Trent Williams hurt. I know he hasn't made the progress to the elite level many expected him to, but Williams is still better than most out there just based on athleticism alone. The drop-off between him and Jordan Black was embarrassing. Williams did try to make it back at the end of the first half, but they shut him down, so I am hopeful this won't linger.

One more positive, at least this proves where the Redskins need to focus in the draft- in the secondary and on the offensive line.

PROS
-AJ Green is a monster.
-Im loving Jay Gruden's play calling so far this season. He is letting Dalton air it out to all the weapons we have at receiver
-Hawkins is quickly becoming one of the most dangerous players on the team...anytime he touches the ball he can score.
-The return of Carlos Dunlap is HUGE. Him and Michael Johnson created pressure all day. This team will go as far as the dline takes them. If the Dline is able to get pressure on the opposing QB, it takes a lot of pressure off our terrible secondary

CONS
-Taylor Mays saw the field a lot. Thats a problem.
-Terrence Newman had 2 of the stupidest plays I've ever seen. The first was on the punt that the Skins were downing at the 1...he tried to fucking pick the ball up like a retard. Then the late hit on RG3 on the FINAL DRIVE of the game was unacceptable. That shit just cant happen, ESPECIALLY from someone like Newman who has been around the league
-Ben Jarvis hasn't really been able to get anything going yet this year, and he fumbled.
-Penalties

Overall very pleased with the win...Dalton with back 2 back 300+ yard games and 3 TDs. Next up we get the Jags so 3-1 is looking very possible.

Pros:
-Matt Ryan continues to play lights out. The offense is finally in his own hands. He's also been great running the play action (17-21 in 3 games).
-My hat goes off to the defense. Creating 4 turnovers and only allowing 3 points to the Chargers offense.
-D-Line is getting pressure which is great to see

Cons:
Running game has to improve and Snelling needs to be out there more. Turner had a couple good gains late but was a non factor once again in the first half.

Pros

- Got a W. Coming back from 24-6 with a little over 20 minutes left in the game was unbelievable.
- Jamaal Charles played his ass off. 33 carries. 233 yards. 55 yards receiving. Franchise record 91 yard TD run. Awesome game.
- Justin Houston is becoming a beast. 3 sacks and a safety. Stuffed the run. Made plays in coverage. Been the Chiefs' most consistent defensive player this year.
- Offensive line stepped up, especially when starting center Rodney Hudson went down with an injury.
- That is the Chiefs defense I was expecting to see to start the season. Held the Saints to 288 total yards. -16 total yards and ZERO first downs in the 4th quarter and OT.
- Ryan Succop 6/6 on FG's.
- Stanford Routt had a nice INT.

Cons

- Matt Cassel. I can't believe this chump has been the unquestioned starter for 4 consecutive years. It's wildly frustrating.

Jordan Black just could not keep up. Jordan Black was embarrassing.

Wow. I didn't know he was still in the league. I am very sorry.

Pros:
-The entire defense played lights out. Perhaps it was the DREADFUL Tampa playcalling but they did well. Sean Lee is an absolute playmaker and Ware was being Ware.

-Romo: Kept getting beat up but kept getting up and delivering throws.

Cons:
-Penalties: Jesus Christ.

-Offensive Line: I think they all have the downs or something. Can't block well, can't wait until the ball is snapped to start moving, constantly putting our offense in 2nd and 3rd and long.

-Coaching: Do they not prepare these guys during the week. We ALWAYS look flat.

-Romo: I think the INT was just a great play by the CB but he still could have made a better decision. His decision to try and lateral the ball while getting sacked was a huge headscratcher. His other fumble was not his fault.

-Witten: Still injured? He just doesn't look the same and keeps dropping easy catches.

-Special Teams: When do we get rid of Decamillis? ANOTHER punt that should have been blocked, a questionable onside kick that put the Bucs in good field position. I shouldn't have to worry everytime we punt that it is going to be blocked.

-Hopefully the refs will correctly call a helmet to helmet the next time one occurs.

Vikings

Pros:

Ponder - This kid has matured and has shown promise defeating the best team in the NFL. He made plays with his legs, with his arm and with his head. Looks very promising.

Rudolph - Dude's a monster.

Defense - Even though they weren't doing the best you could want they still came up when it mattered most (mattered most being when the refs screw you). Chad Greenway is the man.

The team in general did great and beat the best team in the NFL.

Cons:

Playcalling - I know most of you are probably going "well if you win the playcalling must be great!" well I thought otherwise. The plays we did well on were from individual effort as opposed to great play calling. The first Ponder TD was him scrambling and making a great throw. The second was him using his feet when there was nothing else. The third was Rudolph having to make a one handed catch.

Special teams - let up a lot of yards

- Jaguars aren't going 0-16

- MJD is still unstoppable. On pace for his second straight 1600 yard season.

Cons

- The passing game is still terrible. Beside the 80 yard pass to win the game, we couldn't move the ball through the air.

- The pass rush still isn't there. Luck had too much time in the pocket to pick apart the secondary.

- Aaron Ross might be the worst cornerback in the NFL
