Kendrick Perkins lost the game for the Thunder with his defense in the 4th. Not like he was playing well before, but after he picked up his 5th foul there was literally no helpside defense for any drive to the rim. Every drive was more or less uncontested since Perkins was just standing there watching.

Game 2 tonight...Can the Thunder bounce back or do they go back to OKC needing to win 4 out of 5 against the Spurs with 2 of those games in San Antonio?

If OKC is going to win this series they obviously have to take one in San Antonio....ideally that game would have been game 1, but there is a chance they can get game 2. I wouldn't expect to win game 5 or 7 in San Antonio, so they have to do it tonight.

Officiating was horrendous in the 4th quarter. It was like they had the NCAA Tournament officials...every time a Thunder player would drive to the basket, a Spurs player would slide over when the Thunder player was in the air and undercut him. Very dangerous, illegal...yet it resulted in like 5 charge calls AGAINST Oklahoma. Oklahoma didn't do themselves any favors by playing EuroLeague defense in the 4th quarter, but the announcers needed to man up and say what was going on in the game instead of the bland "Oklahoma hasn't scored in their last 5 possessions".

I thought Miami vs San Antonio when the playoffs started and I'm sticking with it. I would be happy with either the Spurs or Thunder making it to the Finals, but the Spurs just look like they are going on all cylinders AND they have the better experience. Unless there is a key injury or something, the Spurs will win in 6.

Really hated how many minutes Fisher got down the stretch too. I understand he was hot but you needed your best defense out there.

That's great and all, but he needs to make the last shot, in the finals, in a game 7, down 2, with 1.2 seconds to play, while being guarded by the leagues best perimeter defender....until he does that nothing really matters.....oh, and he has to do it 6 times before he should even be mentioned in the same sentence with Jordan.

And I know we discussed this in another thread but senser said that most of the LeBron hate and questions about his game have come up since The Decision. I disagreed, it's been almost since day one. Even the ESPN guys are eluding to LeBron quieting the doubters in that clip.
