So we're coming up on the season of the empty wallet, with just a shit load of insanely awesome, must buy looking games coming out.
My question to you douches is: what is your underrated game of the year?
Context isn't important, unless you're a retard and say "Durrr Madden 12!" Just, was it an overlooked game in your eyes, why, and why you think it shouldn't have been.
For me, the winner is fucking Shadows of the Damned. Holy balls the game is fun as shit, the writing is ludicrous (in a good way), and the music is great (all to be expected with that Japanese trifecta). To me, it is both the example of why Japan can make good games, and why Japan is dying as a games developing country (or at least, a good games developing country -- please don't focus on that point).
I'm curious not only because I'm bored but also because I want to know if I've missed anything that I might like.
