Did nothing to dispel my belief that everybody was a shitty actor prior to the 1970's, and they get worse the farther back you go. Laughably hokey performances all around, especially from the kids, who were horrid.

1990 brought us Skinny Segal as he fought the entire Jamaican drug syndicate with the help of Keith David (from such luminary titles as They Live, The Thing and Pitch Black) and Tom Wright (a dude who's guest-starred in enough TV episodes to fill a DVD Box Set).

As it turns out, Segal's adept at breaking most bones in the human body and is handy with a katana.

Keith David's good at shoot things.

Tom Wright's good at snitching and being the Red Shirt at the end of the movie.

Still, the movie's not terrible enough to warrant an "avoid" once you get to the Jewelry Store scene...

This movie is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine.

Only 30 minutes left in Prometheus and I can tell an absolute clusterfuck is coming on. Nothing has really happened so far so they either have to squeeze it all into this last bit or else nothing continues...

Also, why is this so similar to Alien?

I hope you figure out why in the last half hour.

That movie was atrocious. The script was absolutely ruined by a re-write. Alot of the dumbassery and question marks were gone in the original script.
Once you read what it actually was about you realize none of that shit was actually in the movie. It's bizarre.

Gotta respect the stylistic influence it gave movies from Goodfellas to Amelie. But just like Amelie it starts off great, then puts me to sleep.

Was pleasantly surprised. Rockwell is great, the rest of the cast is great, it's got a lot of humor but also hits that perfect "coming of age" nerve that just gives you the feelz.

It didnt have any negative impact on it, but I wish that there was slightly more interactions between the main kid and his "love" interest neighbor.

DC seems to raise the bar every time they release a new Animated feature, this time adapting Geoff John's Flashpoint crossover event
Easily the darkest entry in the DCAU, it's true to the original story in almost every way, easily one the better offering's from DC's always stellar animated features..
