I imagine you only watched Queen of the Damned because of Aaliyah, and she was smoking in it(I enjoyed the way she moved those hips, lol), but if your into reading and liked the movie I recommend the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. I know this is the movie section but they are really good books and Interview and Queen were the only 2 books made into movies. Just a suggestion:2thumbs:

I watched some Legend of the Guardians, the Owls of Ga'Hoole...wasn't what I expected based off the trailer, but it was ok Saturday Morning cartoon fodder.
Then I watched Piranha3D...lulz. So bad. If there was one quotable from the movie that just about sums this flick up, its by Jerry O'Connell...

I'd watch again...SRS. It was just so damn ridiculous. After O'Connell told the world they ate his penis, the little pseudo 3D scene with the floating dong that the Piranha's ate was a lul a minute.
I loved the movie a lot better when it was called Bloodsport. It's practically the same movie, but much much worse.Just watched

When I watched it when it came out about 6 years ago and I was 12ish, I remember hating it because I thought it was a scary movie and it wasn't at all. Gave it another shot now at my age and it definitely was a better movie.
When M Night Shamalama puts trailers out of his movies being scary when only a small percentage of the actual movie is meant to be scary, I think it really leaves a bad taste in the mouths of viewers.

Watched Apocalypse Now for the first time, but it's been referenced so much I felt like I'd seen it before.
Pandorum was bad but not enjoyably bad so I couldn't finish it.

Pretty much the same reason I disliked it. I hate when a movie is advertised as something that is only a fraction of the content. I was a little disappointed with Jarhead the first time I watched it for the exact same reason.

i really enjoyed the village. Of course i watched it without knowing anything about it. It just happened to be on HBO one night and i watched it. I can see how people would be turned off by trailers
currently watching the messenger. someone in this thread talked about how great it is. I was only able to stay up for about 30 mins, but i could tell this was a great movie to watch
