A 2007 mockumentary indie (award winning) film which depicts a small indy pro wrestling group with an eclectic mix of workers preparing for the final shows of the promotion. It's funny and over the top but at the same time, appears to set the tone of what a legit indy locker room feels like.

Some of the characters include (the main one) a veteran who never made it to "the show" because of an injury (he's actually an indy worker whose main job was a lawyer when he helped develop the script and film with friends)....another is a veteran who made it to "the show" for a few months and thinks he's hot shit.....a hardcore wrestler who loves to bleed.....a foreigner who's having difficulty getting over with the crowds....a new guy trying to break into the business, etc.

Even if you're not a wrestling fan, they get the premise of the film over enough so you're not left in the dark.

I definitely saw why the film was up for so many awards, great movie and might have to watch it against because I was around a few people that talked and took my attention away from the film. Sometimes you just want to punch him and say get it out already but really understand the difficulty he has with speech.
 
My girl was watching "for colored girls only". from what i saw.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. not to hate on tyler perry, but this shit was garbage.
 
The Conspirator - pretty damn good flick, considering the premise... the more i see James McAvoy in films, the more i like him, and based on his performance in this, I can't wait for him in the new X-Men movie...

Your Highness - served its purpose, but wasn't as good as Pineapple Express...
