Whos better Romo or Vick

There seems to be a lot of debate about whose the best QB in the NFC East. Toomer thinks that Romo is better. Newly signed from the cowbos te Bennett says that Eli doesnt play favorite.

Romo has a better a higher regular season accuracy, td/int ratio and qb rating:
66.3% completions, 4,184 yards, 31 td and 10 int.and a 102.5 qbr
Romo is mostly known for not being clutch in high pressure situations

Eli has more yards and 2 SB MVP's
61% completions, 4,933 yards, 29 td and 16 int and a 92.9 qbr
Eli had the most 4th quarter comebacks last year as well as one in the SB

For the sake of fairness Vick is an elite weapon that can run and pass
59.8% completions, 3,303 yards, 18 td and 14 int and a qbr of 84.9
He also added 589 yards a 1 td on the ground

It's hard to compare two quarterbacks like this, as they have two completely different skill sets.

However, I would probably pick Romo over Vick.

You tune into any given game during the season and it'll be pretty clear Romo is the far better QB.
However with any extended length of time you'll see the mental errors and his inability to instill confidence in the team late in games.
This is where Eli shines above most if not all others. Hes a winner plain and simple. Much as I blame Garrett and the shitty running game over the years Elis just able to shine when needed. Romo is a crapshoot.

Vick is still in that "pure athleticism" mold. Guy still makes horrible reads, has long streaks of wild passes , and will shock you with ineptitude at the strangest times. Anyone picking him here is delusional.

Eli...no other choice makes sense other than for Fantasy Football.

I like Romo and I think he is a good NFL QB but his leadership skills can be questioned and he has choked in some big games and that is tarnishing his career. He is no doubt tough....he proved that last season but being careless with the ball in crucial situations has killed him.

What is amazing about football is if Romo makes this pass......everything about last season would be different.

Giants were 9-7 last season....with their tough schedule I think they can probably match that record.

I think they can too, or they'll be right around there, and it won't be enough to win the division. They could still make the playoffs, obviously.

I just think the losses of Manningham, Ballard, Jacobs, and the injury to Nicks will hurt them quite a bit.

no....they are getting back Terrell Thomas but he may need half the season to get back to form. I am worried at RB but at the same time it is now a total pass league so I dont know what the fuck is going to happen.

That's what everyone thought heading into last season when they lost Steve Smith and Kevin Boss. Guys stepped up and they played well towards the end.

Not too worried about the receivers (Nicks should be fine early in the season), Eli will get his yards and TDs. Like JMS said, the run game is a bit of a worry considering Bradshaw never gets through a full season unscathed and then there's the rookie behind him.
