Whos better Romo or Vick

A comment on that youtube video:

Austin after the game said he lost the ball in the lights and that is the reason why he wasn't running at full speed and missed the ball. How is that Romo's fault? Romo had the Boys up 12 with under 5 minutes left and the defense couldn't get a stop. Furthermore, once NY got ahead, Romo led the Boys into FG range and the special teams unit got the FG attempt blocked. Not a damn thing was Romo's fault. He put up 34 points against a Giants defense that held GB to 20 and NE to 17 in the playoffs.

Vick had a disappointing year last season, and is volatile and erratic, but at his peak he's a much better option for a football team. When 7 is going at his best, there is not a damn thing that can be done to stop him.

This is a silly statement. "vick's peak is a much better option for a football team." Thanks dude you really fucking blew mind by saying something so obvious.

Anybody that's going at their best is going to be unstoppable. I can literally name 5-10 QBs that would be unstoppable when they're going at their best. Not only that, but I can name 5-10 CBs or 5-10 WRs or 5-10 athletes in any sport that would be damn near unstoppable when they are on top of their game. When LeBron James is on top of his game he is damn near unstoppable. When Sidney Crosby it at the top of his game he is damn near unstoppable. When Roger Federer is at the top of his game he is damn hear unstoppable. When Tiger Woods is at the top of his game he is damn near unstoppable. Thanks for telling all of us something we already don't know.

The NFL is not about who is the best once or twice a year. It's all about consistency. Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Michael Vick, Philip Rivers, Tony Romo, Cam Newton, Eli Manning, etc. If any of these guys are playing lights out perfect ball they are damn near unstoppable.

The NFL is all about consitency. Any one of these guys can put up huge numbers in one game. The only thing that differentiates a good QB from a great QB is consistency.

Eli is good QB he is also very smart off the field got the talking heads at ESPN talking him with all this Elite/Clutch crap. But as hot as he was down the stretch why have the Giants and Eli for the most part struggle since that first Superbowl? We'll see if he can keep this level of play up.

Romo made the pass though... I'm pretty sure that was Austins first or second game back from whatever leg injury he had at that time.

I get your point. I think your opinion is wrong though. Romo at his best is top 3-5 in the league. His ability to improvise and slice up defenses is uncanny when hes hot. It says alot that the guy has shoot himself in the foot to fuck up. In the past it is rarely him being confused or not understanding what a D is throwing at him. Vick even at his best is simply not the passer Romo or Eli (and at least half a dozen others) are. When Vick is at his best its usually because his legs are on fire , and his first read is getting open.
