It's called work your way up. It's fun as shit, career mode then once you get better cars go online.

quick upgrade is pretty ftw. especially for these cars im just using to progress through the game. i hate having to pick and choose upgrades while trying to stay under a particular category. it does it for you.

Quick upgrade is the shit. It's great if you want a balanced way to quickly max your car out in a class.
This game is fun so far. I like to stock up on old cars early in the game just for fun. I always enjoy stocking my garage with cars I owned in real life at some point. Good to see the old IROC-Z in the game! That brings back some memories. I had a black '88 back in the day.

exactly. year 1 most of the races were 2-3 laps at the most. now in year 2, more of the races are now 4-5 laps. I hate long ass races. lol.
the storefront is fucking bad ass. I managed to pick up a couple designs for some of the cars i've been awarded through career mode thus far.
seems like you can also get really good deals on cars that are placed on there for auction. very cool feature.
well, that's not completely true actually. the game recommends you events to participate in as you progress through the game based on the cars you have in your garage it seems.
considering your cars get faster/stronger, it recommends you more challenging races that go on for more laps. you are free to choose your own "easier" races with less number of laps if you wish by going to event list.
ineveitably though, there will be races with a higher number of laps that you will have to complete if you want to complete the career mode.

i dont remember if F2 had years in the career. It was basically just longer races as u advanced like jms said. i dont mind the endurance races, but i dont want those to be exclusive races as i progress and earn better cars.
online is really the best option for this type of game if you can get quality guys who want to race and not play smash up derby. that league they had at MM looked pretty tight and had a full schedule of races

I like the longer races, as long as you aren't lapping the field after lap 5. Thats where its the best when you have to make calculated passes to get the win.
