Buddy reminds me of XRunandShootX from the old Xbox Forums...
RunandShoot was a troll, who would continuously make threads in the Madden section of the Xbox Forums, and would say similar things, that EA was a monopoly company that was greedy and had successfully brainwashed everybody into buying a sub par game, and that 2K5 was the greatest football game ever made.
He made sure he stressed very strongly that EA's games were made for "cheesers", and that because of EA's incapability to make a good game, it was completely impossible to emulate the type of football you see on Sundays.
RunandShoot also stressed very strongly that he was the greatest sim player of all time, and made sure that everyone knew that he was "our sim god". Ironically he was caught cheating in 2K8 when he would glitch the game so the consoles would freeze whenever he felt that he had been beaten in an un-sim fashion. (which was everytime he lost) he was banned from the game for a couple of months but eventually managed to find himself back on the playing field. (surprisingly, this character also claimed to have a supermodel girlfriend, he was rich, and was a contractor for the military in some foreign country.)
The point of the story is, people like this, in all reality have no life. they come onto boards where they understand and can fully grasp the concept that attempting to "convert" all of the Madden players to realize EA is garbage simply wont work, but because of their lack of a life, whether it be social, or if they are just complete losers who stress over something like that, they have to do it to get off, almost as if its some type of weird fetish.
These same people also look at the 2K5 game with rose colored glasses, as it also had its fare share of problems, and game modes such as Franchise were never on par to Maddens. Presentation wise no one will deny that 2K5 is the best, but it's already been stressed a million times, what's the point anymore? 2K5 also had an incredible amount of glitches in the gameplay that no one really stressed because it's following has never equated to that that Madden has had. Madden has the Madden Challenge, 2K had what? so many people are competitive in Madden, and Madden is such a house hold name, that every football fan on earth knows what Madden is, if you say 2K football, a good number will cock their eyebrows and look at you like your a Picasso painting.
2K5's animations were on point, but the strategy behind 2K's game was completely blown out of the water by Madden, not to mention the playbooks in 2K5 were completely outdated. I can't say I've honestly seen the Pro Set formation in professional football since the early 90's, yet 2K had many more examples of similar formations that were completely outdated and simply didn't work. 2K had blitzing problems, similar forms of the Rocket Catch, and while the animations were great, the running motion was downright ugly, and it was hilarious when I could outrun everyone with Edgerrin James, who's 40 time probably dropped .5 seconds after he tore up his knee.
2K was a great game, but by no means was it perfect. it's impossible to get a perfect game. and I'd argue that Madden 05 and 06 are possibly the greatest football games ever made, from a perspective of someone that knows the game and loves the strategy part of it more then the look of it. 2K looked better, but Madden's football X's and O's was >>>>> then 2K's.
My suggestion to you is this, stop while your ahead, no one on this forum will care, no matter how many photos, videos, rants, and attacks you dish out. I guarantee you that in August, not one person is going to boycott Madden because of your posts. it's like petitioning congress to have the change the name of the color Blue to the color Donut... no one's going to pay attention.
