reading the xbone and ps4 thread and seeing all the issues with both and i just wonder why you console gamers dont want to own a gaming pc. curious what the reasons are so i can ridicule you for your stupidity

I don't like gaming with a keyboard/mouse, worrying about GFX card drivers etc. I do that shit all day at work. I just want to be able to put the game in and play. Of course the line is being blurred and companies are releasing shit games with all these bugs so who knows maybe I will go PC. That said Madden05 PC leagues were GOAT.

I have zero interest in PC gaming besides Civilization and C&C series.... and what issues on PS4? lol I have yet to have any... most problems I have seen are XB1. Even the cross console games made on XB1 are having big time issues.

kb/m is rarely used anymore. almost all games can use a 360 or ps3 controller now. hardcore MMO's still use kb/m

Graphics cards and drivers? seriously? i had to update my graphics card one time in 2 years and only because 1 specific game required it. How many times do you have to patch your console? weekly?
Im not sure what you mean by shit games with bugs...but i dont see any games with bugs being released. i would say bugs are less of an issue on PC than the consoles. PLUS alot of mod makers develop patches long before the developer does.

this thread isnt about the console issues...u guys talk about that stuff enough in those threads....this is more about finding out why console players dont want to have a PC. you are actually a great example of someone who seems biased (no offense) against PC games because you dont know enough about them

why dont you have any interest in PC games? you do know that 99% of the console games are also made for the PC? just like console exclusives, the PC also has exclusives like MMO's or whatever. But when you refer to them as PC game it makes me wonder if you are aware that except for EA Sports titles and a small group of other games, almost all consol games are on the PC too.

Yup. Far more shit to worry about with a PC (settings, drivers, up to date components, etc) than there is a with a console. Assuming the console is working as it's supposed to that is.

As far as a gaming PC... I have zero interest in continuously having to upgrade components. Not to mention mouse and keyboard use. I do enough of that already. Plus I'm huge into competitive sports games, you won't find many worthwhile sports games on PC. Also many of the PC guys are absolute clowns and have an over developed sense of (false) elitism.

Settings - every game has an auto detect feature that sets up the video settings based on your gaming system and if wanted to change a setting its simple enough for a 10 year old. not to mention, all settings are the same for every game so its not like each game has its own settings. they all use the same options.

drivers - again i updated my cards drivers once in 2 years. im actually glad the game prompted me to do so to play it so i even knew i should update.

components- i built my PC 2 years ago and have not upgraded anything. My current build will be good for at least 2 more years. you buy a new console every 5 years and your new consoles hardware is weaker than my 2 year old PC hardware

kb/m - any game that is available on the console and PC can use a ps3 or 360 controller on a PC. even most PC exclusives can use a controller.

Sports Games - other than certain EA sports games, all sports games are on the PC. worthwhile games like the 2k bb series, which i understand is the best, is on the PC.

how many PC gamers do you actually know? sounds like you are generalizing an entire community based on very little knowledge of the community. Do i need to mention all the screaming kids you find on XBL? i think most people would agree that consoles have far more "clowns" online then you find in the PC community.

Well, I guess listening to Cheapy D and Shipwreck on the CAGcast constantly talking about having to adjust settings and having PC games crash on them and not being able to get certain games to run even though they both have beastly PCs is a figment of my imagination? And that's just one example.

Everything I've seen/heard/read tells me that it would cost me close to $1000 to "build" a decent gaming PC. For that money I was able to almost cover a PS4, XBone and WiiU. All of which only require me to pop a disc in or download a game and I know it will run.

I also have no interest in either configuring my PC to run on my tv, which is in my basement while my PC is in my office on the main floor of my house, or spend any of my gaming time hunched over a keyboard. I prefer consoles because I don't have to worry about having to upgrade my PC to push the newest games to their potential. With consoles, the developers only have to worry about 1 or 2 hardware configurations and getting the most out of whats available to them. We have seen games recently where some developers were able to push the PS3/360 and still create impressive games on 7 year old hardware.

i dont listen to cag, but if those guys are having those types of issues then maybe you shouldnt listen to them because it honestly sounds like they are not very smart to be having as many issues as you make it sound. As you know i pirate most of my PC games so I am playing or trying almost every game on the market. I never, i mean never have issues with running games. I might have had 5 crashes in a years time, but how many times have you had a game freeze on you? I am not sure if you are embelleshing to make your point, but there is no need to be defensive since I am very much interested in what people like you think because i feel like you are misled and I can hopefully provide you insight to over comes your objections.

$1000 would build you a top of the line system. but $750 would get you a good, solid system that would run all your games no problem. isnt that extra cost worth it to have all the great mods and graphics that are 100 times better?

im not sure why you would have to configure your PC to run your tv.

your personal setup is your choice. i have a great chair i play games in. in fact, its the same chair i play my console games in on my 57inch tv. I have a 27inch monitor and in no way am i uncomfortable playing games. if you setup your PC in a office of course thats not a good setup. but if you setup things right, then you can be extremely comfy.

you mentioned controller again. i have addressed this a few times but in case you missed it. Any console game that is on the PC can use a ps3/360 controller and most PC exclusives can too.
