To the OP and not a "trolling" attempt.

If the Baseball game is a deal breaker for you of course it's a no brainer, get the PS4. If you're looking for a system for the long haul, get the XB1. Titanfall is a great FPS. GOAT controller. Football season around the corner. Fantasy football is integrated. Your favorite team not playing? Snap some football while playing the game so you don't miss a highlight. The Xbox team is constantly listening to feedback from the customers and putting out monthly dashboard updates that correspond from the feedback. Granted all the Xbox One does, it doesn't work 100 % but its innovation so what do you expect? That's why they are rolling out the monthly dashboard updates to perfect it.


Take a step into the future, buy an Xbox One.

Not to mention, who wants a fucking box taking up a portion of your screen while playing video games? No thanks, I'll just stream on my laptop while I play my games with nothing blocking my view.

Some cons on the PS4:
-Not a lot of games out right now
-The fucking disk eject button is the most frustrating button in the world (At least for me)
-Controller battery life is shit
-Options button on the controller takes some getting used to


Cons of XBone:
-Voice commands don't always work (Especially the ON command and attempting to change channels on your TV)
-Controller is small and feels like cheap plastic compared to the PS4 controller & still requires batteries (honestly, the only people I've seen who prefer the xbone controller are those that a) have never even tried a DS4 or b) so set in their ways they refuse to change)
-The Kinect sometimes picks up voices from the TV or motions you/a friend makes on the couch and starts doing funky shit every now and then (not very often but still happens)
-No MLB Show (this one is geared more specifically to OP)


I'm sure I've missed a bunch that I can't think of for both consoles, these are just a few off the top of my head that I've personally witnessed.

As others said, look at future games and figure out what systems your friends have and make your decision. That will be your best bet.

And speaking of the disc eject button on the PS4, I still have to llok every time because I can't remember which one is eject and which one is the power. Plus the icons are so small.

Although, I agree with some of your points IMO the PS4 has way more variety in games than the Xbone. Yeah the One has Titanfall and all that good stuff, but it's just so damn boring to me. Their marketplace is unappealing and empty, and the games they do have don't really catch my attention. All I really use it for is TV, but that's even becoming a nuisance since it keeps freezing. With the PS4 I can at least look forward to a couple of new games a month which I mostly enjoy. I would like to consider myself more of a Microsoft supporter than Sony and I'm still hoping that I didn't waste 500$ for a paperweight, but as for right now PS4>Xbone.

And all that can't be played on the XBOne. Wasn't that the point of the question? I know I don't play PC games so the only place I can play these game is on PS4.

I do play my PS4 much more than my XBone but I think, like you, I still play my 360/PS3 more than either as well.

Sorry about that, I'm more into the indie games than anything else. The AAA titles I have in mind are multiplatform, But Twigg pretty much finished up the list.
