I thought Rambo had a hell of a season honestly. But not a candidate since he missed the first few games of the year.
 
The voters aren't voting for a freshman. This joke of award is going to Te'o or Klein. Generally this award is scripted and those two guys fit the script.

Not really related to anything, and I don't even remember if he won the Heisman, but I remember when Larry Johnson was at Penn State, he had a year where he ran for 2000 yards and was one of the Heisman candidates. When you looked at his stats, he had like 1500 yards against 4 teams (Illinois, Indiana, Northwestern, etc.), and 500 yards against the other 8 teams (Ohio St., Michigan, etc.). Very lame.

I did hear that Aaron Murray would be looked at more seriously after this weekend, depending on how he plays against Alabama. Not that I think he deserves it. I would go with Alec Ogletree or Jarvis Jones over him. Ogletree is a badass. All over the field.

transcendent defensive player with monster stats
not a freshman (unless he is transcendent talent, but he still wouldn't win it)

Having said this year is unique, so I think Te'o will win it, because he has the storyline and it is a weak year for offensive players who win.
