THE CARTEL is controlled by the people who run the BCS leagues, so it is not advantageous for them to see Boise succeed. It destroys every myth they have tried to create. This is why they matched Boise against TCU when both teams qualified for the BCS (so neither team could take a crack at a CARTEL team), this is why Boise was shunned this year, this is why they will never offer up a fair playoff. They need to protect themselves, protect their money.

Well to be fair the reason TCU vs Boise was matche dup is because of the way the BCS selection process works. No one at the Fiesta Bowl wanted those teams.

Oklahoma State may have been robbed, but the fact that Boise State is left completely out of the BCS is the worst sham in any sport I remember.

They didn't win their conference.

I think Boise is a very good team, capable of and on par with any of the teams at the top of the country right now...but they didn't win their conference, so...I understand.

TCU being stiff armed out was pretty brutal. Needed to get to 16, but after a throttling of UNLV, they stay at 18. Clemson jumps them...understandable. Michigan State and Georgia though? laff laff laff. Ridiculousness.

I find it funny how Stanford's resume pretty much mirrors Alabama's...but, they've not once been talked about in the mix for the national title.

Didn't win division or conference...only loss comes from the division/conference champ (whose losses came to LSU and to USC by 3) lol. Sounds similar to Alabama, to me.

The #2 team in the human polls has been #2 in the final BCS standings every year since then, because the formula is now 2/3rds human polls. Ironically enough, the only reason they even weighted the human polls more was in response to that debacle. They figured if a computer couldn't recognize that USC deserved to go over an OU team that didn't win its conference, then human logic needed to step in. Well, fast forward 8 years, and Alabama is the number two team in the country because ESPN hammered the narrative home all season that they were the second best team. That's literally the only reason.

Anyway, this system sucks and fuck Alabama and fuck ESPN and fuck the Cartel. LSU will win by two touchdowns, Oklahoma State will beat the crap out of Stanford and ESPN will continue to pretend like nothing is wrong.
