MLB is an afterthought with this match-up unfortunately.

That's because nobody on the east coast cares about anyone other than the Yankees or Red Sox. And the Giants dominated the Tigers. Rarely anyone out east watches the Giants or cares for them.

I remember how they lost the first 2 games at home in the NLDS and NLCS. I also remember how the guy who got busted for steroids didn't play the last 60 or so games of the year.

I love the Giants haters. They are everywhere now and it's funny because most of them don't know shit about the Giants or watch them play baseball. All I can say is get used to it because the Giants are going to be good for a while because they have a great foundation of young players.

This team was a great team to watch. I'm sad that I won't get to watch them play anymore because they were awesome to watch.

It's unfortunate that there is such an east coast media bias because the Giants were not only the best team in baseball this year but they probably had the best story and faced as much adversary as any other team but the media really isn't giving them as much credit and attention as they deserve.

Getting to the World Series is awesome. You should appreciate the season and your team for what they did. It's not that easy.

I think that's why the Giants are so much more calm and play so much better in pressure situations than other teams. The fans and city really don't care if they lose because they love the Giants out here.

10,000 people are in downtown SF right now partying. Parade on Wednesday will probably get 250k at least.

Maybe to you since you're an A's fan. The A's we're a great story but the only cool thing about them is their limited payroll.

The Giants lost some key players and made some small and some big moves that won them a World Series. 2 years after winning it all they won it again with an entirely new lineup.

The A's making the playoffs is cool and all but they didn't win it all, so it's not a better story. If they did then it would have been but they didn't even win one series, no way is that better than the Giants going through what they did and winning the World Series.
