World Series: Detroit Tigers vs San Francisco Giants

Quit sounding so bitter. Ill never understand why A's fans are always so jealous and bitter of the Giants while most Giants fans actually like and root for the A's.
 
The Giants looked pretty good, and they had some clutch hits and some big plays in the field...but the Tigers looked horrible. I find it amazing that they got shutout only twice in 162 regular season games, then got shutout twice in 4 World Series games. But I get how sometimes the bats just go cold. The fielding was deplorable. A bunch of fat guys who can't move, a shortstop who can't field, and a catcher who can't get in front of pitches.

Detroit's bats went cold but the Giants pitchers locked it in. I keep hearing about how Detroit went cold when really Zito, Vogelsong, Cain, Baumgarner, Lincecum, Romo, and Affeldt were lights out and played up to their potential. The Giants have the best starting pitchers, bullpen, and catcher in the league. That is mainly why they got this far and have won 2 championships in 3 years.

Spot on about the fielding. The Giants put on a NL baseball clinic. Great plays in the outfield and infield, steals, small ball, to go along with some big timely hits.

People seem to forget that the Giants won 94 games, 6 more than Detroit. Detroit beat Oakland and the Yankees to get to the world series. There's no question Oakland is inferior and lacks talent and the Yankees were playing horrible baseball all around throughout the entire playoffs. The Giants had to get through a tough Reds team and a really good Cardinals team. I think that really helped them in the Series.

Sorry but Posey is better. 2 full seasons = 2 world series rings. He should be the regular season MVP. Without him this entire team declines from pitching to hitting to fielding.

The ring argument should be irrelevant, and I agree he's the regular season MVP. I still think Yadi's the better overall catcher, but you can't go wrong with either.

I honestly don't get to watch Molina as much as you but I am fully aware of how good he is and what he's capable of doing. Obviously we're both a little biased. Honest question, would you rather have Molina or Posey?

Yeah pointless to bring up when comparing two players but Posey's accolades at such a young age are worth mentioning. 2 rings, rookie of the year, comeback player of the year, possible MVP.

I dont give it shit if my team is from Oakland or Timbuktu. I go to the games regardless. I could care less if the stadium is filled, if thats what your Oakland point is suppose to mean. As for the fans i am refering too, its the unintelligent bangwagoners. I hate all of them, Giants and A's alike. So its not just part of your fanbase.
