As for Gorgeous George, he flopped when he came to NY and drew some of the worst MSG houses of the era. He was never a star fr the McMahons, so I wouldn't even consider him.

King of Thuganomics, wearing a chain around his neck and using it when he saw the opportunity, coming to the ring with an insulting rap before each match. Triple H is a boss.

Still you have to give credit to the impact and longevity of Cena. You may not like the way he goes about it or how his character has progressed but he makes a lot of money.

Here's a good question. Is Undertaker the #1 gimmick of all time? Road Warriors? Gorgeous George? Hogan's "real american" shtick?

I keep changing my mind on my fourth guy. Undertaker, Andre, Cena, Rock, even Savage or Backlund have solid cases.

Doesn't matter...how much did Taker draw...especially in comparison to the guys being mentioned.

Hell, Tito Santana, Randy Savage, Honkey Tonk Man, Ultimate Warrior...those guys were given the ball as the B-show guy and they ran house shows with them main eventing for YEARS.

I agree...big time gimmick, +rep for longevity with said gimmick, ++rep for being at the top for a long time, but there are guys that go on the Mount before Undertaker...quite a few, IMO.

Why no Shaun Michaels love? Hogan - Austin - Bruno - Michaels. Taker at 5. Michaels was a mid guy that stole the show, and a top guy that delivered.

If we're talking draws, impact, memorability, etc. it's Hogan, Bruno, Austin, Rock. Honorable mention to HBK, Savage, Andre. UT's longevity and professionalism is great, but at very few times was he THE guy for memorable times in the WWE. He was more of a secondary guy (though still a main eventer) during the HBK/Bret era. Then during the Austin/Rock era, with even Foley and Trips being bigger stars. He's like the Cris Carter of the WWE. Great player, but not among the true elite.
