Stevie wasn't on top of his game against Stoke.

He was shit. Stoke parked the bus and we had no answer. I was sort of expecting a result like this anyway. Only positive is we didn't give up our typical weak goal on a counter.

The kids are doing well, but we need another good attacker in that front three to take pressure off Luis. It isn't fair to lump all that pressure on a 19 year old and a 17 year old.

Doubt it will be done again. It was mainly because Wisdom was getting burned by Mirallas and Glen Johnson wasn't playing or on the bench so we had no cover. It was a change to deal with that and then Mirallas went off anyways. Hendo can play that wing back role, he's actually a versatile player who can run for days.

I was just pleased that BR saw the problem and knew exactly how to fix it. Good tactics from him.

I'm not sure what it was to be honest. Haven't looked for any info on him. This was Wisdom's worst game to date, he's actually looked alright so far. He wasn't getting much help from Suso though and that may have been an issue.

I'm not sure Coates coming on was because Mirallas was doing a good job against Wisdom. If that were the case, Rodgers would've likely swapped Wisdom at the half with Coates rather than Sahin (Possibly shifting Agger to fullback or bringing on Henderson). As it was, Wisdom stayed on until the 70th minute.

It appeared as though Coates was brought on to man mark Fellaini who was dictating play.

It is, but not in some serious or disrespectful way. It's a joke, I would expect the same on here if something similar to Pardew was made, and he's a pretty obvious target considering his past. You just took it to another level and called a club with a larger average attendance than Liverpool. Not saying we're bigger, or even "big," but we're certainly not small. Just calm your LFC victim complex, this is a small, shitty little soccer forum I imagine most of us use as a second or third resort when it comes to football.
