I'm rewatching (again), and S6PII is much better than people give it credit for. I think at the time, people were just frustrated (and justifiably so) at the pace of the seasons, with those 18 month gaps waiting for new episodes. By the time S6PII came around, people were like FINALLY, and just wanted it over with.
Anyway, lots of little things in this season that I love. I was always mad at the way Christopher dies, but upon rewatching over and over, Tony's combination of perceived betrayal, fear that Chris might try to have him killed one day, and then using the baby and Chris's drug issues to justify it in the heat of the moment, and now I can see where Tony was coming from. This was the saddest/most powerful TV death until Nucky put a bullet through Jimmy's eye.
