I got to stop visiting this thread, it keeps me wanting it more and more

its been confirmed the PC version of this game will NOT have dedicated servers which is really surprising. one of the reasons was people pirating the game and setting up cracked servers.

Yeah thats going to get fixed rather quickly.

Almost every hosting company I know has been preselling dedicated servers for MW2.

If it stays I am straight up pirating it btw.

Essentially if IW knew about this they should of told them because some of these guys have been selling pre orders of the dedicated server for months now. These companies have no essentially lost a good chunk of revenue due to this.

The game server company that I've dealt with in the past is already offering full refunds on preorders and has pulled all their advertising for the MW2 bundles. Ouch.

It's not really like IW has to go out and tell these places what their plans for the game are.
