SOCOM 4 - Played the beta. I thought it was fun, but not a must buy (mostly due to Portal 2 and L.A. Noire coming out close together). I want to get it eventually though.

Portal 2 - Fun as hell. Good story and good mix of puzzles. If you liked the first, you'll definitely have a good time.

Borderlands GOTY - I still haven't played the DLC yet, but the main story is pretty good. Lots of interesting weapons and skills for each class. Running around with friends in co-op is fun as well. Definitely the best value out of these games.

Undead Nightmare - I enjoyed it. The singleplayer part is good, and the multiplayer horde mode was also fun. However, Red Dead Redemption's multiplayer got stale after a while for me.

If I had to rank them:

1 - Portal 2
2 - Borderlands GOTY
Toss up between the other two.

Socom 4, portal 2, borderlands goty, undead nightmare are games I wanna play before I deploy. Thoughts?

I haven't played Portal or SOCOM yet so consider that, but you definitely should pick up Borderlands at GS. I think tomorrow is the last day it's on sale for $20. Awesome game and you can get days and days (actual game play time) of fun out of it. It's immensely better when playing with three other people too.

Portal is supposed to be awesome but I would imagine fater you run through both campaigns you'll be done with it.

Undead Nightmare is awesome. You can probably 100% the game in 15-20 hours.

I'm not a big SOCOM fan but I would imagine you would probably really like it.

Final Fantasy VI should be coming to the US PS Store soon. I loved this game on SNES. Hopefully PSN is up soon too.

Really? The GoW series has slways been praised for it's excellent fixed cameras. I'm not even sure they could do that game with a free camera.

it's weird how that works out, because there's games that completely changed my view of them because of how the camera system worked.

There were some platforming sequences where I thought the camera placement could have been better. Some of the Challenges of the Gods are made tougher by the camera too (the ones where you're confined to a ring in particular).

Gotta invest in some Single-Player or Local Co-Op games, Rylo.

Local Co-Op will be hard because all the better ones (Scott Pilgrim, Castle Crashers, etc.) were off of PSN; Single Player should be too tough though.

Shit, you could finish any backlog you have.

I'm actually contemplating buying ME1 and ME2 (360) from the Amazon B1G1 50% sale. The only problem is that while I think the first game comes with all the DLC in the Platinum Hits version but the second game doesn't I don't feel like paying for all that DLC too, especially since I doubt it will go on sale since it's went on sale twice already.

ME1 includes one of the two DLC packs. It doesn't include Pinnacle Station, which I hear was a waste of time anyways.

ME2 has tons of free DLC when you buy a new copy, but there are a few paid ones as well. You won't buy them now, but I imagine you'll have so much fun with ME2 that you will want to buy them eventually. And expect them to go on sale around the release of ME3.
