Bored again. Probably going to fly to Holland or Scandanavia this time. Perhaps back to FCK

Currently have a Koln/Bremen dual save going on with another friend. I've got Koln up to 7 and have a few good players coming in January, but I don't think we're going to get this far. Looks like he's about to be sacked, not the first time a good run I've had with a smaller team has halted one of our saves.Originally posted by mgoblue2290If you want to win, put Drew in.Comment

Wrap Up for 2011-2012
The only good thing to come out of the van der Vaart injury is that I was able to give Rose an extensive look at AML, as I shifted Menez over to AMC for the time being. Rose was very impressive, to the point where I wouldn't mind selling Menez to slash the wage budget a bit (Menez is making 6m p/a). Llorente had another solid season, but Keane for the second year in a row has put up more impressive numbers. Keane's getting old, but I think he can handle being in the starting XI if I choose to sell high and again slash the wage budget a bit (Llorente is the highest paid player at 6.25m p/a). Huddlestone is another option as I believe Henriksen is ready to assume the starting job in midfield alongside Sandro.
Enrique is drawing major interest from Man City, so there's always the temptation to sell high on him as well. I definitely want to look for a younger striker that fits the role of being single striker a little bit better than Llorente. He had a great year, but his lack of acceleration really hurts the counter attack at times. Keane, like I said has been just as efficient, turning in 11 goals for the second straight season, in only 19 appearances.
Definitely need some help at center half. Dominguez bombed hard, turning in a 6.82 avg rating, including a 5 game stretch of 5.98, and his ending 5 game stretch of the season was a 6.54.Comment

I love FCK. Started like £7 mil in debt, but with a pretty talented squad. Too bad everyone has really low release clauses for foreign teams (Wendt is £1.7 mil, I've fended off Liverpool so far)
Signings so far-
- Pierre Wome on a free
- Fabinho on a free
- Knowledge Musona (what a name!) £100k from Kaizer Chiefs. 20 year old Zimbabwe international. Needed another striker as Dame N'Doye is out for another month. Even though Cesar Santin is off to a fast start (4 goals in 2 games), those always peter outComment

Went all out in the summer window to cut down my wages. Signed a handful of older players on frees, got Conor Wickham for his fee release clause, and jettisoned all the massive contracts. Baptista was brought in loan as well for some AMC coverage until VdV is match fit again.
Menez is the only player with a big contract still remaining, but is out on loan with Man U paying for 4.8m out of the 6m. I also sent Azpilicueta out on loan, as Kyle Walker returned from his season long loan with Birmingham. I'm going to give Walker a look this season to decide whether I want him to be part of my long term plans, or if I'm going to send him away as well.
Starting XI
GK: Gomes
LB: Insua
CB: Alves
CB: Dawson
RB: Walker
CM: Baptista (Until Henriksen is fit [4-6 weeks])
CM: Sandro
AML: Rose
AMC: Rooney
AMR: Sam
ST: Olic
Subs: Button, Abidal, Van Buyten, Caulker, Jenas, Bentley, Keane, Hutton, WickhamComment

Beat Debrecen 6-1 on agg in the Third round. Have Rosenborg in the playoff, so not a bad draw. CL group stage would be a big boost to the finances.
Teams keep coming for my guys with low ball bids. Wendt has a £1.7 mil release, but liverpool refuse to activate it. N'Doye has a £2.9 mil, and villareal keep bidding just under. Kvist was wanted by Zenit for £2.5 mil but I asked for four so they pulled outComment

Apparently we can't get enough of Barcelona... Drew them yet again in the CL, this time in the group stage. Barcelona, Tottenham, Napoli, and Feyenoord.
Rough group. Much tougher than last year IMO when it was Real Madrid, Panathwhateveriakos, and Steaua(sp?).Comment

I'm that way with Liverpool. I've played them 5 times this season already.

Taking a 1-4 lead back to Parken. Four away goals is more than I could have hoped for, especially since I was shut out for the first 67 minutes. Dame N'Doye returns to the team with a beauty chip shotComment

Finished the 2014-15 season in the highest position of this save. Could have finished 3rd but we flubbed our final game against Leicester who is managed by Emile Heskey. I've got a couple young guys also looking to replace some of my 'older' guys.
My two young Spanish defenders who should be starting a majority of games in my next season. Just sold Cahill to Chelsea for $15 mil.
