So I decided to buy Edin Dzeko for 30 million pounds to try and have success with a 2 striker formation. I've never run one in football manager so I want to see if I can do it. Also got Luis Suarez for 5.5 million pounds, face value, as Ajax offered him to me. So now I've got Suarez and Hazard as my attacking wingers and Torres and Dzeko up top.

Read an article about Shaktar the other day, inspired me to switch to them. Going to be a clearing house for the best young Brazilians and Ukranian players.

£30 mil to spend, brought in Welliton from Spartak for £13 mil of that and am thinking I will get Contraro from Benfica for £9 mil. That will probably be it

Also playing a 3-2-3-2 formation, which is something new for me

Started a new game as Wolves. Solid preseason, but getting owned at Anfield on opening day. Cole and Lucas with 30 yard wonder goals, and Torres being himself has me down 4-0 so far.

5-0, Torres gets his hattrick after Berra stopped running...

Relegation fodder right off the bat. My goal is to keep Wolves up, on this evidence it could be tough

Gregory Dufer - AMR - £28k loan from Standard Liege

Henning Hauger - D/MC - £950k from Stabaek

Henri Lansbury - MC - £450k loan from Arsenal (Nenad Milijas went down for a long time, so I needed a relatively creative midfielder. Paid more than I'd have liked)

Denilson - AMC/L - free - this is the Denilson that once cost £28.5 mil on a move to Betis. Looked like he still had it in a 25 minute cameo against Liverpool, creating more danger than Matt Jarvis did all game.

I won League 1 with Shef Wed, and Newcastle got relegated. I was shocked....but I wasnt going to say no!

1st thing I did was give Andy Carroll a bog boy contract extension. Im trying to offload players, but nobody wants to buy these guys. I was given a 17 Mil transfer kitty.

Got Chris Smalling from United for 8 this years plus clauses, signed Woodgate on a free, Tiote signed a extension, signed Jose Baxter from Everton for free on loan, and spent 7 plus clauses for Fabian Delph.

Im leading in the Championship now, but I feel i need some more fire power.

Fucking hell. Goals are a bitch to come by for me. 6 games played, 5 draws and a loss. 4 goals for, 9 against (that 5-0 thumping by 'Pool).

I am chucking away opportunity after opportunity. In my last 2-2 draw against Villa, Fletcher missed a PK and Doyle rocketed over like 4 times. FUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 points has me in 16th right now, but 5 from a possible 18 is relegation form.

This is why Hahnemann has to be taken out back and shot. NM, YouTube upload won't work. Essentially, Hahnemann had a FK at the edge of his box, kicked it directly at a Toffee, who volleyed it back into the net first time.
