Redknapp pulled the same crap with me for Bale. I believe I mentioned it earlier but eventually I just said 22 million up front and another 22 million over 48 months and made it non-negotiable and he gave in. Worth every penny so far and is by far the best player on my team. The downside is my goal production from the striker position is almost nonexistent. Bale and Kuyt who play on the wings are my two top scorers. Suarez is finally done being hurt but needs match fitness so hopefully he can come in and score some goals. My team's defense is excellent though and I've never played this well defensively.
I'm not sure if I'll go back to my 4-4-2 though, my defense is an impenetrable wall right now.Comment

I schedule a friendly during U21 world champs, the game rolls around, 3 players are injured (all central defenders) for two weeks or more. No notification, no email, just stricken from my lineup.
Both goalies pick up injuries, despite no matches in the past 6 days. Also, really tired of seeing a ankle sprain cause 3 months of injury time.Comment

Starting my third season at Derby, second in the Premiership. Only avoided relegation by 5 points. Somehow I was able to pick up Anelka on a free, he's costing me 60,000 a week in salary though, despite being the second option to the one, the only Alberto Bueno. Also nabbed Fleck to build my team around. I was given 20 million euros and thought I'd try to restructure for the league, unfortunately no one wants to sign at a 17th place team, or work permits won't go through for the great talent I wanted to bring in (namely Fredy Montero and a bunch of regens). On to request a feeder in Spain I guess.Comment

Lost Gerrard for 4 months with a broken foot. Going to have to address the central midfield in the summer and get a true replacement until Shelvey is ready. Four months seems an awful long time for a broken foot.Comment

Just signed Kaka for 5.75 million. He was transfer listed in Winter 2012 window and I picked him up because I've always wanted him. His salary is 145,000 per week but I've only signed him until June 2013. Should be great filling in for Gerrard at center mid.Comment

Was supposed to be writing a paper last night, instead played for 4 hours. Picked up a nice regen keeper, cost me a pretty 4.5 million euros, however with the fact that no one wants to play for me on the 1st team level, including many of the regens I found, it was only about 1/8th of my available funds (with a shitload of room in wages if needed to be expanded). Also my team was granted a feeder club, however the board never picked on and now its not even an option in the boardroom. Was really hoping to get a BBVA feeder for my Brasilian wonderkids, oh well, next season I guess.Comment
