It all comes down to opinion though.
I really liked AW but it was one of the most repetitive games I've ever played. Like Wombat from CAG said, "They could've just called it Run Through the Woods with a Flashlight". Because of that fact alone I don't think it deserves to be in GotY talks. I can't really comment on ME2 because I've only played the demo and couldn't get into it.
On the PS3 side it could easily be said that Heavy Rain and GoW3 are GotY contenders, although HR is quite a polarizing game.Comment

It seems to be doing pretty well though in terms of sales, which I was surprised by. At last check they were closing in on 2mil.Comment

Once I hit like level 40 or 50, every single fucking time I got my ass alive, I'd get ganked by some level 120 ruthless asshole.
I got fed up trying to complete levels cause I couldn't get through any more levels alive cause of that shit.
Sequel should be tits.Comment

I plan on getting Mass Effect 2 then.
FailShepard or not...
I'm guessing Ashley, Kaiden and/or Wrex are going to die like bitches by default then.
That or EA better give us an option to input decisions made your Shepard retroactively.
Like whether or not you saved the Rachni.
Also, for bums like me that are prone to buy DLC for "Horse Armor" (Dragon Age basically has you spend $5-10 and 20 minutes of your time for a sword or a suit of armor), there's going to be an issue with the Blood Dragon Armor code from way back.
I got money that says nobody will get either.Comment

Like "Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition" steal.
Dragon Age's DLC is a little iffy at best (The Stone Prisoner and Leiliana's Song are the only one's really worth anything...) but the stock game is awesome.Comment

The more I hear about this game the more I want to play it. I normally want to play a series from the beginning though but I think I would feel comfortable starting with 2, especially knowing that this package contains an interactive digital comic that sums up the events of the first one and lets you make the six major choices.
I've been listening to Giant Bomb's GotY deliberations the past few days and they have nothing but good things to say about ME2. ME1, not so much though. Brad Shoemaker said something like ME1 was a good game but it was terribly janky. It felt like an old game when it was released, let alone now.
I don't think I'd be missing too much.Comment
