So, I'm now 12-0 in my Madden franchise on Vita. Even though I'm usually the type that likes a challenge, there is something about having a team built from a fantasy draft that entices me to just win as big as possible. A lot of the games are blow outs but there have been some close calls. I think Newton will hit the 4000 yards passing mark at the end of the season and Forte is going to have close to 3000 yards rushing (LOL). I also love all the INTs I'm getting with my DBs.

I've also been playing a lot of the first Borderlands with the wife. I tried getting her into it a while back but we never had two copies of the same version (weird, right? ) and she wasn't that into playing the game with her CoD friends. Well, thanks to PS+ we've been playing every chance we get. I've been using my level 50+ character to help her fuck shit up. Her siren is now a level 33 and we're really close to the end of the main game. We've done every side mission and she loves it. She really loves the Claptrap character. I'd love to find her a claptrap model but the only one I've seen was on Amazon and was $50 for a small toy.

I'm hoping to jump right into the DLC with her thanks to also having the PS3 allow me to install the DLC from the GotY disc onto her console. Big shout out to Padman for letting me know about that. I'm pretty sure that would not be capable on 360. So, for the price of ZERO doll hairs I've been able to reintroduce my wife to my favorite game of this generation and spend some quality co-op time with her. My Borderlands 2 time has suffered immensely because of it but I'm fine with that. I'll get back to it eventually.

I also just finished New Super Mario Bros 2 on the 3DS. Great, classic Mario game. I haven't really touched the Coin Rush Mode yet and I still have several star coins to collect in the levels. But I think I'm going to start on Resident Evil: Revelations now.

I helped the wife finish up the main story in Borderlands 1 last night. Now I guess we move on to the DLC.

The sliders do a decent job at challenging you where you need it. Not to mention a 3rd string qb would be horrible to throw with.

Set all you sliders to 0, and all their sliders to 100. PVR it. Show it on VSN. If you dominate the game, I will send you a healthy royalty check.

Last week I had some people over for the Monday night game and I popped in Buzz, which I haven't played in ages. Goddam that game is fun. We had a blast.

I also would like to say fuck the interceptions in Madden. I'm having fun playing on All Pro and I like just using default sliders, but the amount of passes the CPU picks off is ridiculous. And it's totally random. I could have what looks like a wide open receiver and gun it in the window and some LB or DB will leap in from out of nowhere and pick it off. Of course they all have receiver's hands. And yet sometimes I'll force a throw and it will go right over a defenders head without them blinking an eye. I know Cutler isn't the most accurate in the world but FIVE interceptions versus the Rams? Give me a break. Only one of them was actually legit and my fault.

Therefore for as many as we throw we pick more...thus I stopped complaining.

There is probably a slider you could adjust. Also in EA games once you start throwing ints it just seems to get worse as the game goes on. You need to go back to ground and pound. Sometimes the CPU goes crazy for no reason or momentum.

I get a decent amount of INTs but nowhere near as many as the CPU. I normally get at least one per game and most of the time two. But through three games with the Bears Cutler has five TDs and I think EIGHT INTs. I guess I'm going to have to turn down the slider but I always feel dirty when I do that because then I'm not really playing on All Pro.

Powering through Marvel: Ultimate Alliance in one night with my roommate, his girlfriend, my girlfriend, and myself........one of the best nights of my life. That game never got boring IMO. Never ended up playing the sequels though.

I played through the original with my wife. I regretted not getting the character packs with the Hulk, etc because they eventually took it off the marketplace for some reason. And trying to find the Gold Edition with all the additional characters is tough and expensive.

I have the second game on PS3 but it's still in the plastic. LOL.
