I'm actually gonna start playing through the first two starting in February to make all the choices i think will benefit me the most in Mass Effect 3. Plus some of the Mass Effect 2 DLC i never got a chance to play.

Good call, I do that myself with these franchises.

A shame you've not played ME2 DLC cause Lair of the Shadow Broker is arguably the best DLC on a console game...ever.

March 6th is quickly approaching, and EA and BioWare are adding fuel to the fire with the recent announcement of the in-game gear that will be available to those that pre-order Mass Effect 3.

N7 Defender Armor – Improved shields and health, players can survive even the most punishing of battles and withstand sustained enemy fire. The N7 Defender Armor also offers:
Increased ammo capacity. Additional ammunition compartments to ensure players are always battle-ready.
Amplified weapon damage. Built-in power cells provide an additional punch to weapon fire.

N7 Valkyrie Assault Rifle – Deliver two rounds per shot with deadly accuracy and stop the opposition dead in their tracks with superior high caliber rounds.

AT-12 Raider Shotgun – Available to PC players who pre-order through EAs Origin service, the AT-12 Raider Shotgun fires a large pellet spread, ensuring maximum coverage for close-range targets. Designed for superior rapid fire, the AT-12 allows for optimal recovery time between shots.

Please don't tell me that. I still need to beat Skyrim.

What would you prefer? I'm sure we'll get another free team mate when the game comes out.

I agree. I enjoyed all of the ME2 DLC, actually. They all provided pretty unique experiences.

I need to go through my Renegade character on Insanity when I'm done with SR1.

Have you beaten it on Insanity before? I will say, a Renegade soldier is the way to go. Your badassery helps limit some of the firefights.

Also, I don't know what would actually be better than the ME2 DLC. Maybe the GTA/Red Dead stuff? That would be about the only DLC I would think could hold a candle to it.

                    I beat ME on Insanity.

My first playthrough on ME1 and ME2 was Hardcore Paragon and then I move on to Insanity Renegade. I started my ME2 playthrough up a while ago, but never got very far.

I chose Vanguard though. Gonna make shit real tough...

Yeah, Vanguard on Insanity will be...well...insane. I thought that ME2 on Insanity was MUCH easier than ME1 just because of the lack of the fucking Mako.

I'm just going to have to surround myself with an Adept and an Engineer at all times.

Mordin and Jack should do just fine.

I hate her too, but she's got some wicked powers. I could probably get by with Miranda, but she was always in my squad in my Paragon playthrough.

Aren't you going to get ME3 anyway?

I understand for something like Arkham City which was a total fucking shit show where you got certain things depending on where you preordered from, but this doesn't sound like that.

Also, everything is usually released after the fact anyway, so who cares?

something of note is that ME3 will have like a graphic novel intro where you can make your own choices. when I saw that, I retired ME2, but not before dropping 100 hours into it and accepting it as one of the top 10 games ive ever played.

really looking forward to ME3 to say the least.
