I'm actually gonna start playing through the first two starting in February to make all the choices i think will benefit me the most in Mass Effect 3. Plus some of the Mass Effect 2 DLC i never got a chance to play.

A shame you've not played ME2 DLC cause Lair of the Shadow Broker is arguably the best DLC on a console game...ever.Comment

I need to go through my Renegade character on Insanity when I'm done with SR1.Comment

Also, I don't know what would actually be better than the ME2 DLC. Maybe the GTA/Red Dead stuff? That would be about the only DLC I would think could hold a candle to it.Comment

Have you beaten it on Insanity before? I will say, a Renegade soldier is the way to go. You badassery helps limit some of the firefights.

My first playthrough on ME1 and ME2 was Hardcore Paragon and then I move on to Insanity Renegade. I started my ME2 playthrough up a while ago, but never got very far.
I chose Vanguard though. Gonna make shit real tough...Comment

Yeah, Vanguard on Insanity will be...well...insane. I thought that ME2 on Insanity was MUCH easier than ME1 just because of the lack of the fucking Mako.Comment

Mordin and Jack should do just fine.Comment

Aren't you going to get ME3 anyway?
I understand for something like Arkham City which was a total fucking shit show where you got certain things depending on where you preordered from, but this doesn't sound like that.
Also, everything is usually released after the fact anyway, so who cares?Comment

something of note is that ME3 will have like a graphic novel intro where you can make your own choices. when I saw that, I retired ME2, but not before dropping 100 hours into it and accepting it as one of the top 10 games ive ever played.
really looking forward to ME3 to say the least.Comment
