Is there anything special to these named dragons that randomly appear? I've fought two that aren't involved in the main quest. One was named V something and the other Nagihiliv or something close to that. They aren't any tougher but they do have names.Comment

About a random, non-storyline related quest in Whiterun. It's not much of a spoiler so everyone should check it out.
If you go to the Bannered Inn (i think) there should be a guy there that challenges you to a drinking contest. Without spoiling anything I will just say that this eventually becomes easily the best quest I've completed so far.Comment

If your follower has been replaced, she's most likely back at her home in Dragonreach. Go back to the Jarl's hall in Dragonreach right next to Whiterun and Lydia should be sitting in a chair on the Jarl's side of the long table.sigpicComment

Funny story about Lydia...(spoiler if you haven't bought a house yet)
I bought the Whiterun house and immediately put 200 pounds worth of shit in the chest. I left, killed a dragon real quick, took its inventory and went back to my house to put it all in the chest. I go in and I see someone walking up the stairs, so I'm thinking "shit, I got a burglar in the house already?". I sprint towards the intruder and it ends up being Lydia walking into her new furnished bedroom that did not exist the first time I entered the house. Thought it was hilarious how I can't seem to completely get rid of her.Comment

I've been focusing on grabbing all the Dragon Words for Shouts, unlocked some pretty cool ones thus far. The diversity in where you find them is still just as impressive.
Anybody kill the masked warlock dudes who ambush you? The masks you can get from them are siiicckk. Some Dr. Doom/V for Vendetta shit.Comment

Kind of annoying moment happened earlier...
The first in quest in Whiterun where you have to go into the cave and get the Dragonstone....Well earlier I did a side quest (not the main one) that made me go into that fucking cave and kill everyone in it. I reach the end, kill the zombie dude and see he has this thing called a Dragonstone on him. It had 0 value and weighed like 50lbs, so I said fuck that....
Found out later on I needed to go back into that cave and grab the thing :headbang:

The greatest dragon experience so far
I was working the Thieves Guild quest chain when I was sent to burn some bee hives and sneak into a mansion and blah blah blah. So I was beginning to worry about how I was going to sneak past so many guards, considering I already tried once but when I started to burn the bee hives I got smashed on by 8 fucking mercenaries, all strong, all too high a level to zombify. So I'm sneaking up, I snipe off a couple mercenaries, when out of the blue this FUCKING FROST DRAGON comes flying in and draws all the attention over to the bee hives. At first I said FUCK, I need to go burn up those bee hives! Well I just ran for it at that point. I don't think the mercenaries even noticed me LOL I ran in, burned them shits up, and ran back out untouched. So I get far enough away and the dragon is near dead, so I turn around, fire off a few arrows at him and get another dragon soul for free essentially!!! AWESOME! Whiped up the rest of the mercs inside the mansion and my quest is complete. Best dragon timing ever, makes up for all those unexpected dragon encounters that catch me alone in the wild.sigpicComment
