i have posted at this a few times...but it clearly states right in the manual that if you dont own the house then it will not be there when you come back.

i dont know what u mean by establishing yourself in the mage guild....but all u need to do is join them to get a free room that you will own to store shit. They give it to you by simply asking to join

I know if you dont own it it wont be there when you get back, which is why i made the post. What I didn't know is if there are any neutral boxes or barrels in a dungeon or maybe somewhere in the wild I could map to.

and they took me into a room that had a bunch of beds. I didnt know if the dresser was mine or if its just a bed i can sleep in for rested status.

and what I mean is establishing myself in the mage guild is i want to get those quest lines done and get some of my spell abilities up before I start having dragons jumping my shit when im selling fur armor at 12 gp a pop.

Playing on Master is absolutely brutal, even in superior iron armor with enchants on it im a one shot kill to anyone with a two handed axe. you need the enchanting and the smithing and the alchemy just to clear even the most basic dungeons.

Who needs to learn skills like Enchanting, Smithing, etc when you just steal from everyone anyway. Should have probably focused on Illusion instead of Destruction though.

how does stealing from people help you when a dragon is chewing your face off?

that room is safe. i kept stuff stored there for about 20 gameplay hours then moved them when i bought a house. you will be safe with that room

Sneaking, Lockpicking, One Handed
Light Armor, Destruction, Pickpockting

= only skills I pay attention to.

The perks for Enchanting and Smithing pretty much break that game. No magic effects me anymore for the most part, and I wiped out an entire town without taking much more than a sliver of damage. It's fun being invincible, but the challenge is mostly gone.

I heard that too which is another reason I stay away from them.

I got a companion and a 2nd annoying ghost companion I can summon once a day. Between the three of us it's not a big deal. I killed a dragon using just a dagger before. Also helps that I didn't even start seeing dragons until ~level 23.

I fight dirty when I'm not sneaking around I'm ganging up on people. I'm also a vampire and can make enemies fight for me, but i havent messed with this too much.

Master is fun, was brutal at the beginning. I remember when trying to take on a group was guaranteed death, and one-on-one was still tough. My guys a lot stronger now but I still can't charge around doing whatever I want. There's been several times I've had to just flat out leave places and plan on going back later. The challenge is good and it doesn't feel cheap.

i think i would have quit if i started out on Master, lol.
then again, i am not just starting out with quest (chains) from specific areas.
i have been exploring, traveling and doing quests from all over the place.....

although; i only hit level 8 last night, i have fought and beat 3 dragons. one being a chain quest with the lady after getting the Horn for ???
i have the 3 talents for Shout.

I am doing desctruction and still havent really decided what other perk to select.
the option of Illusion along with Descruction seems to be an interesting combo.

My guy got blackout drunk in the game and woke up in a temple on the other side of the map. Now I have no clue where my companion is and he's been missing for a few days gametime.
