I would just like to say that getting a 70m kill with the bow is bullshit. Also, to unlock one of the skills you're required to liberate two outposts without being detected. It says I have 0/2. Bullshit. I liberated my first three or four outposts without ever being detected.

im playing the pc version and it is rather lovely. any pc game will look better though...this one seems to look alot better based on that video

As far as the outpost one, did you receive the +1500 XP for being Undetected after you liberated the outposts? I've got 4 now.

Yes. But where do you check your stats for that? I couldn't find the specific stat, only the skill in the skill tree that said I still needed two to unlock it.

I've just personally kept count. I've only liberated 12 right now. When I look at the skills screen it says I've met the requirements.

i7-2600k
gtx 560ti 2gb video card
8 gb ram

i can run it on ultra no problem, but it tends to push my gpu over 60 degrees celcius so i run it on the very high setting instead

finally got to the south island. i thought i was going to get there 5 or 6 missions ago.

im not a fan of the story. i like how trippy it is, but i find most of the voice acting and expressionless faces...plus the dialog to be an annoyance. jason is a whiny bitch too. he has to be the worst main character ever. i mean, when you start off as a crying little girl, it kind of ruins it for the rest of the story

Use the Marksman scope I believe? Shows you where you need to aim at what range, and to find out if you're at 70m just waypoint an outpost.

moving along on the south island. not sure how close or far from the end, but the missions in the game are great. i just did a stealthy mission that was a blast. And taking over strongholds never gets old. i like to break out the silent sniper gun

I do agree that I don't like the main character at all. He is a whiny, preppy little bitch. The side missions leave much to be desired too. The rest of the game is awesome though.

I've tried that numerous times. Not only is the terrain completely erratic but even when I think I have the shot lined up perfectly (factoring in the drop) it still misses every time. And if you miss ONCE you're screwed. As soon as that arrow flies by the enemy reacts and then it's all over.

the side missions are beyond stupid. i would be cool with them if you just went up to the board to get them like hunting and target quests. But they force you to listen to some random lame story about some dickheads problem. maybe if it wasnt a cookie cutter person with the same voice it wouldnt be so bad either.

they incentivize you into doing them for the money. The game has not been money friendly to me so i do these quests to buy ammo

i chose the to save my friends rather than join citra. To me the ending was a fitting end to a lackluster story. It was such a forgettable ending that i really saw wasnt surprised that it ended without any real meaning at all. LT to save friends, RT to join Citra...i click LT and dennis comes up and accidentally kill citra with a knife that was intended for me. then the credits roll.

I enjoyed the trippy aspects of the story, but i thought at the end it that all that psychedelic nonsense would have some meaning to the story. what was the point to all these acid flashbacks and whatnot? nothing...that is the answer.

The story is really secondary to me. The gameplay in these missions was top notch. I loved the heli ride at the end with the apocalypse now music playing...that was a badass final mission

so, i dont have much interest in playing a game more than once...but when this ended i went looking for the new game plus option which is nowhere to be found. Really a dumb move to not include it. I unlocked every skill in the game and wanted to run through again with my badass guy against tougher bad guys. But it wont happen

ok just got the game still very early on just finished the mushroom quest.

anyways sometimes im looking for relics or loot chests and i cant find it anywhere. do i need a shovel or some sht or am i just not looking hard enough? also is it worth getting all relics?
