The wife and I finished up LEGO Star Wars The Complete Saga over the weekend. I think we're giving up on going for the full 1000/1000 gamerscore because they're are just bullshit. In order to do everything you basically need to play through the entire game FOUR times. The LEGO games are not short by any means as is, but playing through them four times? You have to complete story mode, then Free Play to get all the characters, mini-kits, extras, etc. Then they want you to play through all of the levels again to get these blue mini-kits and you have ten minutes per level. Then they expect you to play through Super Story, which is just playing through all of the levels from each episode, in order, in under an hour each. Fuck that. I have too many other games to play, especially LEGO ones. We just went ahead and started on LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4. I've never been a fan of HP but the game game is a lot of fun. We're sitting at about 65% currently. Hoping to wrap that up in the next fre days and start on LEGO LotR.

Finally done. Decided to play on hard on my first playthrough. Probably one of the most challenging and frustrating playthroughs I ever had.

I beat Dead Nation on the PS4 through Broadcast Mode.
More than 30+ people all told showed up to murder me in virtual cold blood.
I'd recommend doing it at least once if you ever want to try streaming.Comment

I finished Left Behind (The Last of Us DLC) last night. I played on Hard and got all of the trophies except beating it on Survival difficulty. I think all told it took me around four hours? I got all the collectibles and triggered all of the conversations. The voice acting and dialogue was stellar as expected but there were some interactions that really floored me. They seemed so lifelike. Ellie reading the pun book was gold.
I guess I should've just bought this day one but better late than never. Quite possible the greatest piece of add-on/DLC content I've ever experienced.

I finished up my Expert Evil inFAMOUS playthrough last night. In doing so I unlocked my 19th Platinum and also eclipsed level 22 trophies.

Finished Dark Souls with a pure melee build last night. I was worried I would have to break down and use some pyromancy a few times, but I managed to get through. Not sure if I'll start a NG+ or try to beat another game for the next three weeks.Comment

Congrats! How would you compare it to Demon's Souls in terms of quality/difficulty? A lot of people claim Demon's is more difficult, and I just never got that.
How was your fight with the 4 Kings? They were my nightmare in that game. Gwyn was nothing compared to them for me.Comment

It's a little hard to say which is more difficult as a whole since I used a some magic when I played Demon's Souls, and magic can be really OP in that one. I can say that a few of the bosses in Dark Souls gave me a ton more trouble than anything I remember from Demon's Souls.
The design and look of Dark Souls blows Demon's Souls out of the water though.
Four Kings were easy compared to the frustration I had with Ornstein/Smough and Manus. I suppose a large part of that had to do with me being able to kill one before the next in line joined the fight. I can easily see that fight getting out of control if they gang up on you.
Gwyn can be really easy. I died on my first attempt when he jumped me right out of the gate, but he went down like a sack of flour after a few ripostes on my second try.Comment
