I appreciated what Forza did. The days of games being difficult to beat are sadly gone. I think I've said it in this thread, or maybe the Forza thread...I like feeling like I've accomplished something when I unlock things and beat games. Not a fan of making things cheap and giving out free tokens. Wish they would have just added a difficulty in Forza for how easy it is to earn credits or how cheap things are.

Xbox One: Microsoft to launch first instance of original programming in early 2014
The first original programming for Xbox will be coming early next year, according to Microsoft’s president of entertainment and digital media, Nancy Tellem.
Speaking during a “Variety Dealmakers Breakfast” and reported by Variety, Tellem said the firm hopes to “put something up in the first quarter, at minimum second quarter.”
“We aren’t Netflix, we aren’t Amazon,” Tellem said. “We’re a different animal. We’re neither or we’re a little like them. It all depends. The lack of black and white and this is the template and this is what we’re following is very difficult. As we continue to do deals everyone’s going to get more comfortable.
“I’m incredibly ambitious and impatient [but] we’re here to support the artists and the talent. We don’t have the layers traditional media has. Our studio is very lean which allows us to be a lot more nimble and have a direct relationship with talent and help them realize their vision.”
Tellem is in charge of producing original content for the Xbox platform and during Xbox One’s reveal in May, the firm announced it had a high-profile project based around “Halo,” being produced by Steven Spielberg.
Other original programming could also include a football reality show called Every Street United that “aims to highlight the best undiscovered talent in different countries around the world,” which is rumored to be in the pipeline.
The shows will be available on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One through Xbox Live.Comment

My console is bricked, immediately freezes on the dashboard. Started by telling me the kinect was unplugged even though it wasn't, and after a restart it won't do anything.
Awesome.
Edit: Nevermind, had to reset the kinect sensor per Microsoft's troubleshooting instructions and that got everything back to normal.Last edited by MmmmBeeeeer; 12-16-2013, 06:06 PM.Comment

I saw this yesterday, but wasn't this bc he was not logged into his home system and trying to use a game on said system, hence the check (Which is the exact same way it did it on 360/ps3)? At least that was the explanation as to why none of the major sites have picked up this story as of yet...
Also glad to see the four people who will never and weren't even considering buying an xbox before this "story" are all commenting on it...
