This argument is about initial pricing, not sales. I had a problem with M$'s rigid pricing structure last gen. They never deviated. There were tons of people like me that felt the same way, including loads of reviewers. If you thought it was fine, great.
Although I will say that I enjoy the shit out of my hobby and I probably buy at least 80% of my games on some sort of sale.

It probably is. Wasn't the first one only $5 or was it $10? And it sounds like this one has less content.
But my point wasn't about the value of that game, it was about M$ finally deviating from that ridiculously rigid pricing structure from before.
Of course if they are just going to overprice games by a few dollars all the time it will be a moot point.

Yes it was. They also had a Peggle Nights expansion. It was available on XBLA, PSN and DS and mobile.
I bought Peggle on XBLA. My wife bought it too so we could play multiplayer because we both loved it.

I just don't understand the haggling over a few dollars at the initial price, especially when at the top we are talking about dropping $60 on a game. Don't understand the groan either, as I'm not attacking you, but whatever. For the record, I hardly played any arcade games as they don't interest me at all so I may not understand completely.

Best Buy not only has XBones (they've been available as long as I can remember) but they also have the three major launch titles on sale. Forza, DR3 and Ryse are $50. With GCU they're $40.

I forget which website it was, but multiple reports claimed they were receiving thousands of XB1's today. MS pushing these things out like crazy.

If that's the case that's pretty impressive.

Found it. Looks like it's spread across multiple stores.

With stock shortages of Microsoft’s recently released next-gen console plaguing a number of retailers and causing pre-Christmas shopping panic, GAME has announced it has received new stock ahead of the festive period.

"GAME has worked closely with Microsoft and have arranged for thousands of extra Xbox One consoles to arrive in GAME stores in the next few days, from today, meaning that gamers will still be able to get their hands on a console for Christmas," the retailer announced in an official statement.

Despite suggesting that it was receiving ‘thousands’ of additional Xbox One consoles in time for Christmas, the retailer warned it didn’t expect stock to hang around for long.

Umm, that's an article referencing Game, which is the UK equivalent of Gamestop.

Yeah, some UK blog about a UK retailer means shit to me.

I assure you my disgust with the NFL has nothing to do with my state of being. I gave up investing my emotions into that shit long ago.
