Microsoft Studios is looking to hire a software development engineer to lead a team developing “a triple-A title within an established and well-loved strategy game franchise.” The listing notes the position is available at its Redmond, Washington headquarters. No further hints as to what it could be were posted.
Does MS own any strategy games other than Age of Empires and Halo Wars? "Well-loved franchise" would lead to the side of Age of Empires. I would love to see that on XB1.

No fucking way. Is that legit?

And the apps won't be behind the Live pay wall?!? Fucking GWG is finally coming to XBOne?!? Good thing I didn't buy Max Cursed Brotherhood and Halo Spartan Assault. I had a feeling they would be the first freebies. Is this seriously MS?!?

They are seriously buckling under the pressure. I can smell the desperation. Fucking Phil Spencer is getting shit done though.

So Spencer has dropped the Kinect-less XB1, Sunset Overdrive, Game with Gold, Halo 5, and no paywall for apps all before E3. What the hell do they have in store come June?

Spencer has been working overtime to right that Xbox One ship

There still HAS to be something that will be an E3 surprise.

I'm sure we'll see Gears of War and Quantum Break.

Hopefully showing new IPs and exclusives that'll get people excited for their console. It should be all about the games this year since that's really what both of these new consoles need at this point.

Yup. We haven't heard anything about QB in a while, and you know a new Gears has to be coming. Plus Halo 2 Anniversary.

I am kind of afraid to post anything in here...here we go.

Microsoft has revealed what's coming as part of the Xbox One June Update, including external storage support and real names for identifying your friends.

The company's Major Nelson explained that these were "two of your most-requested features", though didn't quite pin down when exactly we'd see them arrive.

                          01:27
When external storage support arrives, you Xbox One will be able to support up to two external hard drives at once. Any hard drive with a USB 3.0 connection and over 256 GB of space will be formatted in order to allow you to move games, apps and add-ons to solve issues many have had with space on your console.

This also means you'll be able to take content to a friend's house and play a game directly from a hard drive, though you will be required to log in to Xbox Live if you purchased the content digitally, or insert a disc of you have a physical copy to verify ownership. On the plus side, you won't need to patch and re-download DLC. Tools to copy full games and all their associated DLC to and from hard drives will be available from June.

The real names feature will come with a large amount of flexibility, so you can choose whether to show it to all friends, a subset you create, friends of friends, or no one. Regardless, your real name won't show up in games, so don't panic about pesky trolls hunting you down on social media.

Other features confirmed for the patch include new SmartGlass features, such as OneGuide and Universal Remote Control, along with the ability to select an account for automatic sign-in. The OneGuide will also come to Europe and Canada for the first time, along with expanded TV options.

The first thing I did was install a 1 TB hard drive into my ps4.

That won't be enough with the size of games these days. I thought about doing that too but I have a 1TB in my PS3 and that shit is full. I had to delete stuff the other day to make room. External storage would be awesome.
