I haven't had any issues like that, although I haven't played Forza in a while, but I did have a weird situation the other day. I booted up my console to install Tf. Everything seemed to be fine and then suddenly it shut off by itself. I tried voice commands and no go. I think went and tried to turn on the console manually and nothing. I then unplugged it from the massive power brick and plugged it back in. It finally started back up when I hit the power button and went through the long reboot process.

I haven't had any issues like that but these pass few days when I try watching tv it stays on a black screen and freezes. I've tried hard and soft reboots but it's a consistent problem recently which is starting to piss me off. Never really had any constant issues like this.

Sometimes it takes a really long time for the tv picture to show up (30-45 seconds of a black screen) but I don't think I've had any freezes.
Also, any word on when actual surround sound will be supported for tv?

I was having issues last nite as well and I still can't figure it out...For some reason I was just sooo much faster than Swarley in Forza 5 with the same car and build. I think this will go down as an unsolved mystery.

Yeah, no shit. I have that checked. It's still in BETA and it's not true surround sound. All it does is blast the center channel through all of the speakers.

By the way, how's that link coming along?

Where are the indie games on Bone? I remember them saying last year that they would be focusing on bettering relationships with indie devs for the Bone and has there been anything since launch? Is Max Cursed Brotherhood indie? If so, that's the only one I can think of.

Xbox One will launch in China this September

Today in Shanghai, Microsoft announced that, in partnership with BesTV, Xbox One will launch in China this September. In addition to being a monumental day for Xbox, this is a major step in the partnership between BesTV and Microsoft following the formation of their joint venture, E-Home Entertainment, in September 2013 during the Shanghai Free Trade Zone expansion.

Right at the time they cease distribution. That makes perfect sense...

I guess they figure they'll just let current stock sit around at the $500 price tag and see how many dummies like me are still willing to pay that?

My buddy is over in Japan because his wife is in the Navy. He posted a pic on FB the other day of a Walmart that they have on base. There are two HUGE piles of XBOnes, one regular edition and one Tf edition, just sitting there. He said they've been there for months. Not a PS4 to be found over there though.

Now I know the XBOne is a joke in Japan proper but this is a Walmart on a military base. Almost all of the shoppers are Americans.

Am I missing something or is that impossible considering the XB1 doesn't release in Japan until September?

It's on a military base. I wouldn't buy any next gen console if I lived in a country where it wasn't supported, even if I was on a base. So really, this doesn't surprise me, although apparently twiggs friends are infallible and mine aren't to be trusted.
